Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

Well assuming it will be used by only a small amount of the users, maybe it's not worth the bloat nor the effort :?
Or I don't know have you ever thought about making some kind of add-ons for XMBC so each user can decide for himself whether to install it or not

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

I supposed that it's gonna be complicated and also I'm concerned about whether such a thing would make XMBC slower and heavier. That's why I was also thinking about using different fonts (or even bold/italic...) instead of colors, but I'm not sure if there will be any significant difference or it wo...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

It's a good idea, there is a similar thing in excel when you insert long formulas the matching parentheses are in the same color so you could see whether and where you need to add more brackets to complete the formula. Let's see what Phil thinks and whether it's worth discussing that in the next bet...

That's what I wanted to know, thanks :)
And thanks for the tip about the translation template thing, frankly I haven't thought of that, it's a good idea but I will wait for the fuller makeover :P

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

#461 - Renamed all simkey tags in the help screen so the text is consistent.
Untitled.jpg
I hope it's a bug but there still are commas+spaces between some of the tags and some are separated by spaces only. Or maybe I have misunderstood and you meant something different in #461?

Re: Cursor getting back to its original position

Well you can set the coordinates you want the cursor to go to in Sim Keys and send it there with the click of a button. Or if you want to make some other actions and then make the cursor go to the desired position, you can simply put the coordinates in the end of the string in Sim Keys - after all o...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

My another idea about this "nasty" tag description window (apart of removing all contents to some help file) is to make little buttons for all the tags. When you hit the little button it would autoinsert the proper tag string into simkey editbox at cursor position Well that would be great :D, but t...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

I'll look at the commas and spaces when we change it to - That window is particularly nasty for the translations so I might take the opportunity to make it more sensible at the same time. My idea is either to remove all the spaces between the commands or make all commands followed by the same chara...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

There could be inscturctions in simulated keystrokes list of available commands about all kind of layers (next, previous, last etc). I remember they weren't put so as threre was a little mess about, but now it sorted :) I agree, the Sim Keys window is the perfect place for explanations about all av...

injtsvetkov - profiles

Here are some of my most important profiles, the rest are pretty standard with 1 or 2 simple button settings so not worth sharing. I have to warn you that you can find that some of the settings are ridiculous - that is because I have tested something and left the settings so I could test it again in...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

Well to be honest, I got a little confused too, but as I think of it now, there appears to be one more variable (or maybe two :P)... Example: 'Layer 1' is currently active. I use hotkey to activate 'Layer 3'. Then I use hotkey to activate 'Layer 5'. Now if I want to go back to 'Layer 3' - I will use...

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

Now this problem is gone :D this is what I was supposed to to say (Injtsvetkov :D) Exactly :) I had the same problem with {layer:next/previous} but BriHecato suggested using {layer:<n>} and I did it, so my problem went away then. Glad to hear that {layer:next/previous} is working like it should now...

Well now the chording is perfect 8)

Let's see what Kukurykus will say about the looping of {layer:next/previous} commands :)

Re: XMBC 2.15 Beta

Was less effort than I anticipated and seems to work quite well, especially for right button chording on the desktop! Glad to hear you didn't go through too much trouble :) Seems to me that the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons could be placed a bit higher, if their position (on the screenshot) is not inte...
