Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

I have profile for "explorer.exe" which remaps the Middle click to Double click. I know that a few betas ago there was a change to separate the "Desktop" from "Explorer" so one would need two different profiles for them. Since I haven't changed this profile after that change, it was working for both...

Re: It is a problem in Adobe Illustrator CS6

Have you tried to assign those copy/paste functions to other mouse buttons?

Re: Documenting function x-mouse button press

I've thought of that too (also mentioned it in the past I think). IMO after implementing chording it became quite hard to remember all key combos and especially when there are some long sim keys scripts  Here is what I have done for my "Excel" profile as a comment to a cell in the worksheet whi...

Re: It is a problem in Adobe Illustrator CS6

You have to write this:

Code: Select all

{CTRL}C
into Simulated Keystrokes for Copy.

Is this problem present only in "Adobe Illustrator CS6", have you tried that in other applications (e.g. notepad)?

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

Don't get too upset mate  I was doing the same when I started beta testing but very soon I realized that it's really not worth it wasting Phil's time (and mine too :|) with such things that probably nobody else would notice except me, though it still happens occasionally :P. We have to try conc...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

I think it's much better to have the minimize/close buttons compared to not having them :) And guys, listen carefully to what Phil says, paying too much attention to those little things really eats up his time. It's much better to use it for the other useful features in the ToDo list and believe me ...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

2. I thnk that the first forcused item when the setting window open by XMBC icon should be "Application / Window Profiles:" list or "Close" button, excluding when returning from another dialog, it is not limited. Now, for example, users open the window and press any keys by misstake, which rewrites...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

Well, being quiet clearly does not mean no bugs, just not enough testing .... Yes, you are right :!: My point was that with so few beta testers, if no bug is found for 2 weeks, then maybe even if there are any, it's unlikely to be found soon :?, which IMO makes it pointless to wait. I'm sure ...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

Well it all depends on your spare time with the new job. If there are some minor changes coming up, then I guess it's OK, but if you plan to implement some tricky feature which could cause problems then maybe the wise thing would be to push 2.16 now. It's light indeed but it's been almost 2 months s...

Re: injtsvetkov - profiles

Hey, my friend :), sorry for the late response but I haven't checked this topic for a while. Actually it took me a few moments to recall where I have used this {APPS} tag and what is the actual task of that sim keys macro :P So this {APPS} tag simply opens the context menu, like RMB click. Most keyb...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

This is strange: Untitled.jpg Untitled1.jpg If I set it to another function it displays it normally, but if it's set to 'Run Application: [.....]' it shows 'Button Chording: Button Chording:' instead of 'Button Chording: Run Application: [.....]'. Most probably it's been present since an older versi...

Re: Button Chording

That's an interesting one  Here is what I've found out: In Layer1 - I set MB5 to '(sticky hold)[{CTRL}{layer:2}]' In Layer2 - I set MB5 to repeat 'V' every second So when I click MB5 it holds down Ctrl and switches to Layer2, then I click MB5 again and it starts pasting every second which mean...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

the hook would simply set a timer when a modifier key is pressed. If the modifier key is released before the timer fires , or another key is pressed then the timer will be cancelled and nothing will happen. Only once the timer fires will the layer be switched. I'm not sure I understand you right :?...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

But you can already do that with global hotkeys can you not? Just set the revert timer on the layer. Yes, of course! I've also thought of that but there are certain scenarios when it wouldn't be appropriate to use the revert timer (and I suppose that's when people have to use Layer modifiers) becau...
