Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

By the way you should remove the held option from chording window also, while it doesn't do anything there too. Just out of curiosity, is there any chance to combine those two features or it's not a good idea? For example, adding 'Button Held' for the second chord button, even if there would be onl...

Re: Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

Thanks Phil, that's all I needed to know! In fact, one of my mice is also Logitech. The other one is a very old mouse at work that has some kind of a software problem I think. Sometimes it works flawlessly but very often it's wheel goes mad - sending 2-3 MMB clicks at a time and when I scroll in one...

Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

Hi Phil, Two of my mice have hardware problem and often send several clicks (2-3) on a single button press. I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow block the unneeded clicks in a very short interval after the first one but still be able to double-click. Or maybe block all the clicks inclu...

Re: {ALT}{F4} Closes All Windows!!

Probably the problem is in the "tilt" action (it sends the command repeatedly). Try it with different button combination (e.g. RMB+LMB or RMB+MMB) to see what happens, if it works like it should (closes only one window) then most certainly the problem is in the "tilt" behaviour a...

Re: How Do I Disable Middle Click in Opening Links in Google Images?

Try assigning "Change movement to scroll" to the middle button and tick the "Block\delay original ........" option. I hope that works for you :)

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Yes, I havnt put any checking in for he multiple profiles... It will find them in the order that they exist in the list (top to bottom). I could "fix" this but actually it may be better this way, because if it does not find the first one, the second one may be more appropriate. You mean t...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Woooow :o #503 - Add ability for window profiles to match on multiple processes, captions, and classes. Congratz on that Phil :!: I think it's HUGE :D So far I have managed to combine "explorer.exe||explorer.exe (desktop)" in one profile. I had a few unsuccessful attempts but when I left t...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

So its been over a week now - and nothing new has crept out - do you think I should release 2.16 as is? Of course, its only upon release that I will really know :) All in all, XMBC 2.16 has taken a very nice step forward! Thx Phil! -JT :) Agreed! I'd say if you have the time to do it - then do it :...

Re: "Change movement to scroll" the cursor moves

I think that is a good idea :) And since the "Lock scroll axis" option is already there it would be very convenient indeed if the cursor moves like Kanazei suggests. Of course the current option (fixed cursor while scrolling) should also be available so maybe adding a "tick" box ...

Re: Can't start XMBC on WinXP 32bit

Try to find out if there was any update for WinXP that fixes problems with VS2015 or file's execution. It might be included in SP3 or was put separately. I have SP3 and all recommended updates, so maybe one of them helps XMBC to work. Thanks for your reply mate :) Since I've checked all other thing...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

Thanks for the clarification Phil, it makes sense now :) I guess I could automatically add a new profile, copying the existing explore.exe profile for the desktop - I didn't think that was wort the coding effort (and I still dont really!!). I'd rather make it more obvious in the change log somehow. ...

Re: XMBC 2.16 Beta

I have profile for "explorer.exe" which remaps the Middle click to Double click. I know that a few betas ago there was a change to separate the "Desktop" from "Explorer" so one would need two different profiles for them. Since I haven't changed this profile after that ...
