Re: Beta Testers Wanted
I have seen this, but Im not able to make it happen at will. Is there anything imparticualr you have noticed that makes it stay highlighted? Solved, this was conflict with some other app I use. I think i got the spelling mistakes (when I actually read what I had written lol). There is one more in t...

Re: Beta Testers Wanted
I presume that's a good speechless :) It's beyond good, very intuitive and user friendly. XMBC is now v2, IMO. Let me know if you find any hiccups. No hiccups for now, just some visual glitches which you are probably aware of. If you press right mouse button, 4th and 5th button in the main window t...

XP SP2 32bit here, with a lot of hooks installed, if it works for me it should work for everyone. Where is the link?

Re: Button mapping to window/screen parts?
I've spend about 3 weeks on this now, and have been feeling it (it doesn't help working on it till >3am for 4 days in a row!) so the pace of development will have to slow down again or I might not even make the next release lol! Slow down man, I will be more than happy if you once in a while publis...

Re: Strongly suggest add mouse button as modifier keys
This would introduce a delay in to every button press That's for sure. @ rivermstony I don't know if it helps, but I use open source app called HotkeyP , which does what you want, but it doesn't recognize different windows (apps) like XMBC, it works globally (like default profile in XMBC). It doesn...

Re: Strongly suggest add mouse button as modifier keys
I don't want to be rude, but he probably thinks e.g. In this example right mouse button is a modifier: right button = command a wheel up/down = command b right button + mouse wheel up/down = command c and in this example button 4 is a modifier: left button = command 1 button 4 = command 2 button 4 +...

Re: Button mapping to window/screen parts?
@ MainTrane You can do all the things mentioned with PowerPro, and with the mousetrap plugin you can do some really really advanced stuff (e.g. actions depending on the color around the mouse cursor, cursor icon type, etc ). There is a way to support more than 5 buttons
Yeah, it's kinda cheating but ... if I'm well informed every mouse with more than 5 buttons comes with some config app for those extra buttons, so if we configure those buttons to do stuff like: Ctrl+Shift-Alt+X or Ctrl+Shift-Alt+Y or ... than XMBC "only" have to do is to intercept those k...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control 1.44
Sorry, my mistake. The damn thing (DInput8.dll) works even without XMBC, which means that it really fools the game that the mouse is a joystick. Then obviously Loader.exe is a configuration GUI for setuptool.ini (RE4 ini file), but still whatta hell is DInputHook.dll . They only had to make the game...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control 1.44
In my country it's football too, but Konami named it soccer probably not to confuse Americanos. Anyway, I've found a " patch " for RE4 which enables 4 mouse buttons (not configurable) and mouse aim which, of cource, is not as it should be. But more important there is a source code http://m...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control 1.44
I'm trying to simulate E, F, U, I, O ... Yes, for these games you can't use the mouse at all. RE 4 is one of the worst ports (to PC) ever made (no mouse support for an action game, come on) and the second game is a soccer game so ...
