Re: XMBC 2.12 Beta
It would be good if you could get the download progress to work correctly .. It shows Downloaded X of Y in all case X and Y are always the same (increasing in value) I have never seen Y be the size to download X = Y = count of bytes(?) downloaded In addition the Green progress bar is always at max.

Re: XMBC 2.11 Beta
OK, I removed xmbc and deleted all existing profiles. I installed xmbc 2.11 on the host only. Mouse control panel on both host and guest shows unchecked for swap mouse buttons. In the default profile I create a second layer (total of 2 layers) I use my external mouse left handed and the trackpad rig...

Re: XMBC 2.11 Beta
I'm puzzled here. I tried as you sugested, also disables the VMware profile. I can EITHER the external mouse to work correctly or the internal track pad to work with VMWare but not both. For testing I have XMBC setup with ONLY the default profile but multipel layers. Windows Control Panel Mouse sett...

Re: XMBC 2.11 Beta
something strange is going on then. I have an external Microsoft mouse (layer 1 left handed) and an internal trackpad mouse (right handed). I also have a VMWare profile. When running the latest version and the VMWare profile is active (inside vmware window) I get BOTH a right click and left click tr...

Re: XMBC 2.11 Beta
Hmm, this seems to cause a strange problem when using VMWare Workstation. I do NOT have xmbc installed in VMWare. The only thing the default profile does is to make right click = left click and left = right (swap buttons) I have a vmware profile which for right & left clicks uses same as default...

Re: XMBC 2.11 Beta
This update breaks multiple profiles/layers.
I have 3 layers. 1, 2 and 3
I have 3 profiles, Default, VMWare and Task Bar.
If I switch to layer 2 and then move the mouse over the task bar, it switches back to layer 1 (and stays on layer 1 until I manually switch back again to another layer.

Re: secure desktop
Yes I mean the UAC prompt - and it's not working there - I understand all the hooks being disabled.

secure desktop
It seems that xmouse does not work on windows secure desktop (this is the problem with acronis)
Is it possible to make it work on the secure desktop, does it need a special profile?
Thanks,
Michael

Re: Layer name
Yes, I get that each profile can have a number of layers. So it's possible to have a huge number of profile/layer combinations. I can understand each layer having a name but it seems that each profile/layer combination can have a name which does not make sense to me. Surly the layer name needs to be...

Layer name
I'm a little confused with profiles and layers. It seems that profiles are specific to windows or processes and layers are collections of all the profiles but with different settings. So why does each each profile/layer combination need a different name - surly the layer name applies to all profiles...

vmware window specific profile
I have create a vmware profile to fix the wheel problem and this works great. I now have another issue - I might have several VMs running at the same time. What I'd like to be able to do is to create a specific profile for one of the VMs - maybe based on Caption - is this possible? Looking at the wi...

Re: XMBC 2.10 Beta
I'm seeing an odd thing with Acronis backup software ... when one of their dialog boxes pops up, the layer is in xmbc is ignored - at least the mouse buttons revert to defaul settings. Any idea how to debug this and give more information? As a side note i'm not getting email notification about updat...

Re: XMBC 2.10 Beta
something strange is going on here ... I'm running xmbc in a vmware guest, .10 is running ok. I do a restart and all my startup items startup correctly. I do an automatic upgrade to .11 I do a restart (of guest) and suddenly several startup items DONT start (including vmware tools and xmbc). I can r...
