Well, i checked 'cause there must be something wrong with my configuration as you don't have it and this problem was because i had activated a setting in global settings 'Activate window when scrolling'. I disabled this option and the problem is gone. Sorry to waste your time over this silly mistake...

Thanks, good to know that it can be done.
By myself I have gotten to {ctrl}{lmb}{lmb}, but this only takes the first {lmb} command so i guess this is not the correct way to simulate double left-click....
