Re: Starts with Windows but doesn't start minimized

Yeh, your right, it really should be an option. The reason that it is not (currently) is that to apply it to HKLM, it would need admin privileges, which XMBC does not usually have/require. So it would have to spawn a separate elevated process, all for a single setting, that's actually quite a lot of...

Re: Starts with Windows but doesn't start minimized

XMBC starts with windows by default. By adding a shortcut manually to startup, it is starting twice. When you run XMBC for a second time when it is already running, it opens the interface.... So you can probably see what is going on here! During installation a key is added to HKLM\..\RUN - you shoul...

Re: Set the side button to not click automatically

Depends what you want to click, but you can use simulated keystrokes in repeat mode (method 6) and tags such as {LMB}, {RMB}, {MMB} etc....

Re: XMBC 2.21 Beta

Thanks for that, Ive been sitting on an internal version for a while, chasing down one specific issue that is bugging me and one other. Haven't got there yet (to be fair Ive been too busy recently, and I have a 3 week vacation coming up at the end of July, so I can be sure not much will happen till ...

Re: Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse whell buttons not working

Sorry, I cant offer much here as I no longer have any Microsoft mice, and this ones I had previously didn't have the wheel left/right. The only question I have, is there any way in the MS Kbd & Mouse software to change the tilt (wheel left/right) behavior to standard horizontal scroll? With Logi...

Re: Configure Trust Ozaa mouse buttons

Probably - it works with almost every mouse (including my Trust mouse but that's a different model). As long as the mouse sends mouse messages through the standard windows mouse message queue then it should be interceptable by XMBC. That means only the first 5 buttons on any mouse, the wheel and til...

Re: How to switch layers with mouse button

I think that the layer options on the button dropdowns are considered "toggles" while the button is held down. To be honest, that's a bit useless these days, Its a bit of a hangover from before the concept of button chording was added, and was a crude way to try and chord buttons and never...

Re: Feature request: Clear mouse wheel buffer when leaving current window

sorry, see previous reply...
You may have noticed, only on release since your last message - things move very slowly here these days - far too much going on away from my computer (well away from having spare time to develop my own hobbies) :(

Re: How do you UNINSTALL inpout32?

Not sure why you posted twice, but FYI, InpOut32 is pretty much a dead project, certainly not "supported" more than the source being available. No idea why files would come back after a reboot - sounds dodgy to me - like something is loading the driver/DLL at staartup maybe? What are you u...

Re: Tilt was working but now gone?

Does XMBC think I'm still using the HyperX because that mouse does not have tilt wheel capabilities or did Steelseries mess up my day? XMBC has no idea of the physical device, it is not a device driver, it simply hooks into the Windows mouse message queue. So it makes no different what sends the me...

Re: Scheduled Save Desktop Icon Layout

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying, Ive been struggling rebuilding my laptop for a few days after it decided to corrupt itself after a windows (insider) update! Yes, you have both options built right in... In the global hotkeys (other) tab you can assign a hotkey (hotkeys only work when the setup s...

Sure it would be handy to have a copy of the profile - I don't believe the forum has a size limit but maybe I'm wrong, just zip it up (its text so it should zip very well) and PM it to me. I'm sorry that i haven't had a chance to look into this yet - this time of year, my weekends are quite busy and...

Re: XMBC start before desktop appear

Sorry for the delay, but I don't really know how to answer this. XMBC is started by means of being the the HKLM (or HKCU) registry startup items. So that does not execute until the session is logged on (I dont believe XMBC can interact with the session 0 (logon screen) anyway so I think its pointless...

Re: Looking for left click to also hit d on keyboard

As well as the click? And when you say hold down, you mean just down while the button is pressed, or repeated while the button is pressed? Should all be possible with simulated keystrokes... Just type d in the keys to send box, select method 3 (during) and un-tick the box "block original mouse ...

Re: XMBC support for a mouse with 19 butoons

Thank you for starting a new topic, but shame on you for posting this in at least two OTHER topics today. That is against the rules, which I suggest you read again. I also suggest you read the FAQ again (which is in the rules) as it answers the question as to why XMBC supports 5 buttons only. Maybe ...
