Re: Explorer Settings ignored

I don't know whats different but it works fine for me :) Just did the exact steps you described... 1. Turn off the navigation pane in explorer. 2. close explorer 3. Open explorer (confirm still no navigation pane) 4. Close explorer 5. Set middle button to "Open explorer at My Documents" (apply) 6. P...

Re: Using layers for multiple macro's

Sorry, I dont think thats possible (starting a button mapping on another layer without pressing the button). There is a chance that you could do something like this: ....{layer:2}{MB5} But I'm not sure if that MB5 would be interpreted for layer 2 or the layer you are coming from... Sounds to me you'...

Re: Difference between "Override mouse speed" vs. default?

It allows you to change the Windows mouse speed settings (on the fly and per application if need be) but it is the same thing, all it is doing is changing the setting in Windows (and hopefully changing it back again when you exit XMBC!).

Re: XBMC recognizing two mouse functions as the same.

I dont know - does the mouse have its own software to configure the tilt/scroll? Maybe you can change how it sends messages in there. XMBC just looks for the WM_MOUSEWHEEL (vertical) and VM_MOUSEHWHEEL (horizontal) messages and intercepts them. Out of interest, without XMBC loaded, does the tilt scr...

Re: Double click glitchy in AutoCAD

OK, its possible that the globaly setting isn't being used in the "double click" option - I'll have to look into that - it must have a hard coded delay (or none at all) but it does effectively do the same thing as simkeys {LMB}{LMB} internally so I'm a bit surprised!

Re: Double click glitchy in AutoCAD

Rather than add the WAITMS in each command, you could just adjust the global "delay between simulated keystrokes" in the advanced settings tab. This should apply to the "double click" action too (although I'm not 100% sure about that without checking the code). EDIT: Oh I see you have tried that and...

Re: Discord will it recognise that one button is being used to do multple keystrokes?

It should work - only way to know for sure is to try it!
Effectively you are creating a macro - by sending keystrokes to the active window (e.g. Discord) as if you had pressed the keys on the keyboard.

Re: Select scroll method for scroll with movement of mouse

Currently this is not possible. Change Movement to Scroll injects mouse wheel messages to the input buffer as the cursor moves. XMBC Ignores injected messages that it has sent. So I will have to change the "Change Movement To Scroll" window to allow you to choose the method of sending the scroll mes...

Re: chording w/scroll wheel

First thought was this should be doable (the shift+scroll to go faster) but actually there is a problem... Finding a combination that wont impact anything else - Shift+Scroll makes it scroll horizontally (if there is a horizontal s/b) so that would be a problem, Ctrl+Scroll is zoom - so thats out. A...

Re: "Set Profile Folder"-functionality?

Best is to do this during installation - you can specify the location of the profile folder (this is completely independent from the load/save profiles which can exist anywhere). Right now there is no (easy) way of moving it post installation. Simple way to do it: 1. Copy the profile folder to where...

Re: Simulated Keys Opens Many Tabs in Edge at Once

Ahhhh the in tilt right is probably the key here. Tilt is not a button with discrete down and up messages it repeats a single ‘I’m being pressed’ which probably explains the repeated tabs! On the Options tab for the profile turn on the option to ignore repeated horizontal scroll messages when remapp...

Re: XMBC introduces a tiny delay to button clicks?

You're right - I haven't made any new public beta's of XMBC - a few tinkering here and there but the past year has been mad and difficult for all sorts of reasons (and not all of them covid related :( ). So there is nothing to try (I'm struggling to remember the details but I'm guessing given my pre...

Re: Simulated Keys Opens Many Tabs in Edge at Once

Obviously CTRL+T - but what method did you select to send (which is what I actually asked it my response above!)? Because CTRL+T and method one, as I said, is working perfectly here, which gives me pretty much nothing to go on to explain why it wouldn't work for you! If you are also using method 1 (...

Re: Simulated Keys Opens Many Tabs in Edge at Once

Seems to work fine here in firefox, edge and chrome... One tab every time!
Perhaps you'd be good enough to actually tell me how you setup the simkeys?
{CTRL}T - but what method to send are you using?
