No need to uninstall… just turn on check for beta updates in settings then check for updates and it will seamlessly upgrade! Or download the beta installer and it will also upgrade!

But uninstalling will work too (just extra steps!)

First thing I would suggest is to try the latest beta.

A lot of effort and improvements have gone into that but if the problem still occurs it will make diagnosis much easier (I was planning to release it soon so you could wait, but it would probably be better to know before release if there is ...

Here is 2.21 Beta 46 - I'm hoping it is getting close to release now. I will see how this one plays out, and if its good for a while, I will release it as 2.21 (finally!!) But I will need to buy new software signing certificates before I can do that as they run out in a day or so!

I don't think so. I have tried before, but this seems to be a special key that windows does not see - its hard wired at a lower level that the OS. There does not appear to be any way to inject it (probably because injecting it to windows would do nothing).

If you use {return} or {enter} in simulated keys (I presume that's what you are talking about?) it will simulate that key whenever you press the mouse button - it has no concept of the application with keyboard focus (Word?) it just sends the 'enter' key when you ...

I just had a look, and I cant reproduce the second item (not saving after un-ticking the Abort when another key is pressed/abort with a specific key check boxes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong/different - can you send me a video so I can see exactly what you are doing?

OK Thanks, I'll take a look when I next get a moment... I presume the first problem was working prior to the changes in 2.21b41 so I suspect I know where to look. Nothing changes (AFAIK) in the settings/saving etc but its also new in this beta run so maybe there is an issue there that no one else ...

just a note for any on 2.21 Beta 41 (and maybe 42, 43) that there *may* be a problem with the automatic check for updates... I noticed that I was not offered the update on my other machines, and running check for updates on the context menu would not do anything obvious. I think that was a bug I ...

I use Microsoft's PowerToys for that. Have you tried it?
It highlights the mouse cursor in a "spot light" on shake (or other activation). I does not change the cursor size (I don't think that easily possible in Windows).
