Re: Mouse Cursor not working + Other weird behavior

OK Well firstly, XMBC can only change the behavior of the first 5 buttons, and as you have discovered, the tab button is a sixth button (My Logitech M720 also has this tab button that I occasionally trigger accidentally). You may be able to use the Logitech software to disable it (I think I did that...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts don't work

Seems like there are multiple things going on here... I'm not aware of any problems with global hotkeys but that of course does not meant there aren't problems (just no one else has reported anything). Hotkeys are ONLY enabled when the configuration window is not open (it must be closed before the h...

Re: a couple of suggestions

Hi, the debounce settings are rather crude and not all that reliable. I guess I could move them to application profile level but I'm not convinced there is all that much to gain there. What is the use case for this (why would it be an advantage to have them defined per application?) As for the rando...

Re: Activate window when scrolling

Well you can try running it elevated and see if that fixes it. That's probably the only way with the portable version (other than copying it to c:\program files\) But its almost certainly the reason. This is from the README Portable.txt in the portable distribution: It is important to remember that ...

Re: Can you do tandem keystroke with holding down a mouse click?

Do you want to do this on one button or do you still want to press two buttons (one button for CTRL and one button of RMB?)
On one button, you should be able to use {CTRL}{WAITMS:250}{RMB} with the method set to 3 (button held).

Re: Activate window when scrolling

Working fine here (of course). Are you using the installed version or the portable version. If Installed, where did you install it (default c:\program files\highres.....\xmouse....?) Because elevated windows are "special" ad for XMBC to properly interact with them (without running elevated itself) i...

Re: Same code different results?

That's certainly an odd one - no obvious reason for that (as in it should work exactly the same as the other buttons). You may need to enable debug logging (logging & updates tab) and then try and make it go wrong again. When/if it does go wrong goes wrong again, make a note of the time (including s...

Re: hold left mouse button action?

Select simulated keystrokes
Then use method one (in the dropdown) with the code "{HOLDMS:500}{LMB}" (adjusting 500 as necessary)

Re: Decoupling scroll from the scroll wheel

That's a really odd one... Are you still using Superior-X or did you actually switch to the latest XMBC (it wasn't clear to me from your message) XMBC is significantly more up to date as CST haven't been in touch for a while since they sold up I guess! However, in both cases, change movement to scro...

Re: XBMC keeps disabling

XMBC can be disabled is several ways. For example you can setup a global hotkey to toggle the enabled/disabled state, or BY DEFAULT, it will disable if you turn on scroll lock(this is to give an easy way out if you misconfigure XMBC and break a button (like the left button). Is there anything in the...

Re: Forcing Scroll in Pages

Technically it just turns on the global windows setting (found in the mouse control panel). If the application does not respect that (rare but maybe there are some) then XMCB wont help... Some application only read this setting on startup (and don't listen to the broadcast event saying settings have...

Re: Activate window when scrolling

You will need to enable debug logging first on the logging and updates tab (and that does have an impact on performance so it wont stay turned on after XMBC is restarted)

Re: Activate window when scrolling

Debug logging might help - it will give an awful lot of information so finding the relevant bits can be tricky - but if you manage to note the time that it does not work, finding entries in the log should be easier (for me at least).

Re: Laptop Trackpad Right click is registering as Mouse button 4

I'm sorry, I have no idea what you have managed to do here (and as such, don't have any real suggestions). XMBC can remap buttons but it can't change them physically - when you press a physical button, XMBC will highlight that in orange and perform any remapping assigned to that button (including di...
