Re: Any Way to Middle Button Movement Scroll Fluid?

Ohhhh OK so I wasn't on the same page :D
Have you tried "Change Movement to Scroll" in XMBC - if you set the middle button click to that - it may be better / more configurable than the built in Windows scrolling (which seems to be fairly smooth to me)

Re: Suggestion/idea: Could XMBC "remap" keycodes

In theory I guess its possible - but XMBC is for mapping mouse buttons - it does not do keyboard keys = problem. Unfortunately I'm not about to go adding remapping keyboard keys to custom actions (primarily because of the amount of effort involved and lack of time I have - the GUI work alone would b...

Re: Auto Clicking/Repeat Left Mouse Button Clicks

Yes you could do this with a key or another mouse button. Ideally make use of layers, and on the alternate layer, the left button can be left as default (No change (Don't intercept)). Then to switch to a different layer, use layer modifier keys (to switch only when a key is held) or global hotkeys t...

Re: Any Way to Middle Button Movement Scroll Fluid?

If by middle button, you mean just the normal scroll wheel, then no, I don't think so; XMBC only sends/uses the same messages as Windows uses - so it will still scroll in the same units as Windows. There may well be other tools that can do it (or have more precise smooth scrolling) but not built int...

Re: Simulated SHIFT During behaves odd

For some reason I am having to approve every post you make - I don't know why (and I hope it will fix itself on your next post as you should be out of "newly registered users". I will try and have a look at the log soon (but I cant do that tonight). I'll let you know what I find (if anything!)

Re: Auto Clicking/Repeat Left Mouse Button Clicks

Depends exactly what you want to do - but be aware, many games (esp. online ones) block or BAN people who use XMBC and other tools like it (because they see it as cheating!). You can use simulated keystrokes, to repeatedly send left mouse button clicks. But how do you want to trigger it - ideally no...

Re: Simulated SHIFT During behaves odd

Just checked and its working perfectly here with {SHIFT} on button 5 and RMB to show the extended context menu... And the 5th button stays highlighted in orange(/yellow) too while pressing RMB... So there seems to be something wrong at your end. Can you send (PM) me a copy of your profile (firstly),...

Re: Simulated SHIFT During behaves odd

OK so during is defo the right thing to do. But I cant figure out why it would be OK on ALL buttons except RMB.
I will have to have a look at the code to make sure there isn't some "special case" going on there - but I cant think of any reason there would be.

Re: Double click glitchy in AutoCAD

Very odd - not something I can reproduce here... (nor last time you mentioned this in Oct). Are you really still on 2.13? if so, have you tried the latest version? Maybe if you could turn on debug logging - and then capture it failing and ideally working in the log - make a not of the time that it f...

Re: Simulated SHIFT During behaves odd

Have you setup the simulated keystroke to "During" to it stays held while the button is held? I Wonder if the second button press (right click) is aborting the simkey sequence - before the right button is registered - I'm not 100% sure why it would work with the left click drag in this case, other t...

Re: Mouse pointer suddenly jumps

I don't know if there is any relevance to the colour - maybe, but equally, maybe not! I guess you would need to find the actual part numbers and look it up?! As for uploading photos - that's never happened to me (and I upload quite a lot of screenshots)... I can only image it must have been the brow...

Re: Not all buttons work - Logitech Performance MX

As stated the the F.A.Q. XMBC can only see 5 buttons + wheel and (one) tilt. this is because it uses Windows mouse hooks subsystem and those extra buttons are not routed through that system so XMBC simply cant see them. There is no way around this using the Windows mouse hooks system, so no there is...

Re: Mouse pointer suddenly jumps

Yes, you should at least be able to fix the buttons - I've replaced the micro switches in my Logitech G9 several times now (different buttons so far) (The mouse wasn't so cheap but I haven't been able to find anything more modern that has quite the same good feel so it was well worth fixing - and li...

You could try BUTTON HELD which allows you to do different things depending how long the button is pressed for?

Re: Can you set the "Slow Down Cursor" speed somehow?

You can set the cursor speeds for the "cycle cursor speed" option but I don't think you can set it for the slow down cursor. Maybe the cycle cursor speed may be a better option for you in this case - you can still trigger that with the hotkey key in the same way, but it would be a toggle (there are ...
