Re: Wmouse and W7

I'm sorry, I don't know why it would not install - maybe there is a newer version that you need - I dont have any Windows 7 machines so its very difficult for me to check. Try google and ask about "root certificate updates for Windows 7" and see if there is anything newer... A quick look found this:...

Re: Problemas con la instalación de wireless optical mouse 6 bottons chino en Windows 7

Hi, Does your PC see the USB device attached at all? Does it make any USB connect sound when plugged in? Does it show the device under "Devices and Printers" as a mouse or an unrecognized device? Does it work in other computers? If not then it must be faulty. If it shows up as a "unrecognized device...

Re: Repeat, During and Sticky mix?

I'm afraid I don't think that is going to be possible in XMBC at the moment.
You might need to look at AutoHotkey where you can write much more advanced scripts so it should be easily possible with that. And you could still invoke the AHK script with XMBC I guess.

Re: Wmouse and W7

There are multiple downloads - did you make sure you selected the correct one for your OS (Win 7 x64)?

Re: Can't disable Tilt Wheel Left or Right

How about my more advanced question: Ideally I would like to deactivate left and right tilt only while the middle button is held down. Is that possible? Not possible at the moment... At least, not with something useful also mapped to the middle button. Glad you have a solution though even if it mea...

Re: Microsoft mouse without borders?

I don't know but I don#'t see why not. XMBC will only work on the computer it is installed on, so if you want to remap buttons on a different machine, you may have to install XMBC on both/all. Grab the portable version and try it - no need to install it to try it out (although the installed version ...

Re: Can't disable Tilt Wheel Left or Right

Hi, Do the left/right tilt dropdown boxes highlight in orange in the XMBC setup screen when you press them? If not then something else is probably catching and handling them (logitech setpoint/options software maybe). If they do highlight, then setting the dropdown to disable should indeed stop them...

Re: Wmouse and W7

The FAQ tells you how to fix that and even links to the MS Knowledge base artical with the download to fix it!

In short, just install that Microsoft patch/KB hotfix KB3004394

Re: Scrolling momentum (Apple Magic Mouse)

Hi Dirk, This may be possible but I wont know for sure until I give it a go. In reality it may be rather tricky and conflict with other things in XMBC, adding scroll messages is defiantly possible (eg. change movement to scroll) but weather it would give the desired smooth momentum effect, I'm not s...

Re: XMBC fails to respond to wheel/scroll depending on which app is under the mouse cursor

I'm glad you found a solution to your problem (even if its outside XMBC!). It makes no sense however if its installed. There must be something else on configured on your system interfering with it. Unfortunately its pretty much impossible to find out what without painfully going through every single...

Re: XMBC fails to respond to wheel/scroll depending on which app is under the mouse cursor

Hi, If the setup window does not highlight in orange for those applications (but does for others) that can only mean that something else is either swallowing the messages before XMBC sees them or something below XMBC (the mouse/touchpad driver or mouse/touchpad configuration software if there is any...

Glad you managed to get it working - thanks for the info about adding the small delay (that often works - XMBC can be too quick sometimes :))

Re: Is there a way to do... WAVE volume change.

Sorry, thats not possible at the moment - XMBC simply sends the windows volume key commands and they only control the main volume slider.

Re: Wmouse and W7

Not likely unless you give me a bit more information! What is happening? Are you getting any error messages? Is there a log file (may or may not be deepening how far it gets). I'm sure that you have already looked in the FAQ so you have already seen and checked the one about "XMBC Fails to run on Wi...

Re: Can´t get the during option to work

During just means that the key is held down for as long as the button is held down... Its up to Windows/The application how it then interprets that - and I guess for whatever reason, the keyboard "autorepeat" is not invoked. If you want the key to repeat, there is method 6 which has a built in repea...
