Re: Scrollwheel behavior in 2.5

However, fear not - you can use Simulated keystrokes as follows: In sim keys, use {MWDN} or {MWUP} and use a method that does not repeat, such as 1 or 2 :) Phil That did the trick! Also it gives me the opportunity to use different methods depending on which behavior i want for the scroll! Thank you...

Scrollwheel behavior in 2.5

Hi again Phil I'm sorry for not noticing this before but with 2.4 and before I had a one time scroll per button press by using "Mouse wheel up/down" assigned to mouse buttons, Now it scrolls as long as I hold the buttons. This causes problems in some games since the "zooming" hap...

[Feature request] a small change.

Hey man! You remember the "Reset Sticky buttons on any other button/key is pressed" feature you implemented for us in advanced under settings. I have recently found use for the original way where it stays pressed down until same button is pressed again. Unfortunately it is only for a few p...

Re: Problems with Sticky hold function

Do you think the any button *should* be any button/key? or two separate options? I will see what I can do for the next version. Ah I see My fault for not seeing that. Option 2: two separate options would be the optimal choice if i can enable both together or separately for additional functioning. O...

Problems with Sticky hold function

Hi again Phil! I recently discovered a problem with simulated keys - sticky hold function. I have mapped Tilt Wheel left and right with {SHIFT}{WAITMS50} and {ALT}{WAITMS50} which works and the Setting "Reset sticky buttons when any other button is pressed" Enabled. But it only releases it...

Re: Tilt wheel

V2.2 beta 2 should work as follows: {WAITMS50}, {WAITMS:50}, {WAITMS<50>} should all give 50ms delay. In during mode, the WAITMS tag should come after the key. In Non-during "Pres on down"/"Press on up" etc. then the WAITMS should be before the key it applies to, so it knows whe...

Re: Tilt wheel

Did you try putting the wait AFTER the r? If not, can you? Oh crap... Dont put the < > in there. Try this: {WAITMS50} or {WAITMS100} I guess the docs on WAIT and WAIT ms is not clear, the <> are not good! I must make the next version accept in this format too lol MYGOD the {WAITMS50} worked flawles...

Re: Tilt wheel

But what was the whole sim key macro. eg. was {WAITMS50} before or after the key . The WAITMS tag behaves differently depending on the send method also (on press, on release, during etc). If other buttons are working, then it might be a problem with the tilt message which can repeat itself. The gen...

Re: Tilt wheel

That often happens, the debug logging slows it down enough that the game has no problem. this suggests even more that its the delays, the question is, where exactly is the deley needed. What macros did you try with {WAITMS<x>}? EDIT: I wonder if this is a problem just with the wheel tilt settings o...

Re: Tilt wheel

Now on to the problem, obviously the debug log might be of use, but have you tried the "thread" methods of sending the simulated keys? they may help reduce stutter. Its also possible that this one game is a little sensitive to really fast key injections, so it might be worth adding a {WAI...

Tilt wheel

Hi again Phil I have a new problem 8) I bought a Logitech G5 and can now use all 9 button functions of x-mouse and everything works properly except the infamous tilt wheels left and right. I have read around here and understand the problem with the tilt not working like the other buttons which is wh...

Re: Question toggle "shift/alt/ctrl"

I found a bug! If I click on any modifier key and move the mousepointer outside of the OSK it releases itself. This does not happen when I use a button assigned to the modifier you linked to me! In reality its not a problem for me since i have to learn to use the buttons and not click em. ...

Re: Question toggle "shift/alt/ctrl"

You guys! Awesome Phil, Now it works like I wanted it. Also it's a simple thing to disable the setting whenever I want the sticky feature. On the osk layout all I can say is "WOW!" This was actually better then I imagined, this way I get one extra set of functions for free! Thank...

Re: Question toggle "shift/alt/ctrl"

I don't know either

No but srsly it won't work since in my browser mouse buttons 4 and 5 is regular back and forward. But thanks for the tips anyways. I'm learning as I use the setups and layers. For example the new hold down simkey is good for one app in a layer and so forth
