Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta
Son of a gun I figured it out. :) After installing Logitech Set Point software I had to set the middle wheel to a "middle Button" and now it works normal. The default action for the middle wheel was "Zoom". So you need to install the Logitech Set Point software in order to use th...

Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta
It sounds like your mouse might be broken! Does the middle button highlight orange in XMBC setup when you press it? If you exit XMBC, does the middle button do anything? The middle button does not normally need any special driver to function, so I dont suppose you have messed up your mouse driver -...

I have a big problem one of my computers  No matter what I do I can not get the Middle Wheel Click to work on my mouse at all. So whether I make the Middle Wheel Click a "back" button or any other action nothing works. Even if XMBC is running or not the Middle Wheel Click is pretty ...

Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta
Hello again
Is there any chance you have come up with a way to remove XMBC icon from the start up folder but still allowing it to start up with your computer?

Yes that would be a very good ideaphil wrote:Great, I wonder if it should be more obvious, of if the context menu should toggle that option too - which would perhaps make sense?

phil wrote:OK, I think that only temporarily hides it (as its always done).
Try going into the main settings, the advanced settings tab and unticking the option "Show tray icon by default"
Let me know if that works
Thanks,
Phil
Unchecking that fixed it
Thanks

Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta
The icon should appear every time you run XMBC, unless you ticked the box to hide it in settings. You have not said that you have ticked the box. You also haven't said which version your using. I presume your using the latest beta as you have posted here but please, if your going to report an issue...

Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta
First problem with 2.6 beta 2, the installer does not correctly put a link in the startup folder in the start menu! I will fix that later but for now you can manually copy it from the XMBC folder to the startup folder. Thanks, Phil Actually is there anyway you could make it so XBMC can start up wit...

Re: XMBC 2.6 Beta 1
Hello,
I have a strange issue.
I have enabled "Hide" for the XBMC tray icon. However everytime I restart my computer the tray icon comes back again.
Is this a bug?
I am running the latest beta on Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit
Thanks

Re: Make wheel click perform "Back" action?
The wheel click is the middle mouse button on most mice. When you click the button with the XMBC setup GUI open, it should highlight the relavant field which I would expect to be "Middle Button". There are a few mice with more than 5 buttons, in that case it is possible that the mouse whe...
