It looks like the program number is incorrect. I downloaded it via a direct link - 19 build in the program, at least in the name of the 20th. And I separately checked it through extracting files from XMouseButtonControlSetup.2.19 Beta20

The program cannot be updated from 19 to 20 build.

It looks like a cursor display error. The layer number is displayed after applying the settings, and not after changing the layer. At least it looks like it's a layer number. It is strange that no one wrote about an ancient error in the language_template file.
I checked the latest translations 2.19 beta 11 (German, Japanese, polish) and all translations are based on a template file.

Also warning "lost message": In the future, if there are problems with the translation like those reported above, can you raise it in the specific beta thread - as its an explicit bug/issue in the beta itself... and I'm much more likely to spot it and remember it if its in that thread as I don't loo...
