How long have you used XMBC?: just installed
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: Thai and English

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).:I've got a problem with x mouse button control. I can not apply the setting. It says "Unable to save the setting file 'C:\Program Files\XMBCSettings.xml'. Please check you installation setting". I installed it in Program File in C drive. If I did something wrong please tell me.

I've replied to your email.
For the benefit of everyone else - you have chosen to save your settings in C:\Program Files which is an OS protected folder - you do NOT have permission to write files there, so unless you run XMBC as administrator, it wont be able to write its settings (or log) to that folder!

You shouldn't change the default folder unless you have good reason to, and if you do, you should choose a folder that you have write access to!

If you are using the portable version, you shouldn't run it from under program files (that nullifies the whole point of portability) - if you want it under program files, use the installed version!

Regards,
Phil
