need help with a command in a MMO

Post by rexxigar » Tue Jun 25, 2019 9:35 pm

Hey,

Just wanted to say that this tool is fantastic. Though I am having an issue with a command and I don't know why it is having an issue. All I want to do is make my mouse wheel up trigger an (alt+1) command. This is for an MMO. I have tried to do it as such {ALT}1 in the key line, but it just seems to some what work but most of the time it just send the key stroke of 1. If you have any ideas it would be a great help.

Sincerely,
Alex

Games can be a problem. Some times they don't detect the simulated keystrokes at all (many online games block MS's SendInput API to prevent cheating). But if its detecting the 1 then that is probably a good sign.

Other problem can be timing, using the incorrect send method etc..

Maybe next time, you could fill in the posting template so I have some more to go on! - What version of XMBC, what version of Windows, a "clear" description of the problem, including button configuration - is that really too much to ask for when someone is asking for help?

What have you tried? What simulated key "Send Method" are you using? Try method 3 if you haven't already.
Try adding a small delay between {ALT} and 1; {ALT}{WAITMS100}1
Not sure either will help but its worth a try.

Regards
Phil
