Mouse DPI Glitch

Post by FutL » Wed Mar 14, 2018 12:45 am

Ok so basically my mouse cursor will sometimes go at crazy high speeds randomly. There is no way to control it and happens randomly. This really sucks when im playing games as its hard to aim when this happens. This problem usually lasts for a split second but can sometimes last up to 5 seconds. Any fixes?

Dunno, you haven't given me much to go on, not even the version of XMBC, let alone any of the other details requested in the posting rules lol!
I don't really see how XMBC could cause the mouse DPI to change - does it happen only when XMBC is running or is it a physical device problem?

If anything I would expect any cursor movement issues to be slow (missing) rather than accelerated as XMBC can't do anything with the speed of the messages except maybe to drop/ignore them if they are too quick or block them if you have the "lock axis" enabled and it wont be that!

You could try the latest beta 2.18 beta 7) though because I have made several generic performance improvements in there...

Thanks,
Phil

Such undetailed posts happens so often you should think of some form poping up for new comers they can't submit their question (or account) untill most important fields (with asterisks) are filled. Your're dependent of forum options, but as programmer with brilliant ideas you probably could somehow hack it to make your life easier and get less flustrated each time everyone ignores 'Before you ask for help....' & FAQ sections ;)

I'm done with hacking the forums - last time I did that it made upgrades near impossible!
Not least, I'm not so keen on web development - its not really my skill set!
There maybe something in the addons/plugins though - perhaps I should have another look!
