Direction Keys Bug

Post by hman333 » Mon May 18, 2009 3:48 am

I seem to be having some trouble with mapping the direction keys to any mouse button. what im tring to do is map the left and right keys to the left and right tilt on my mouse using {LEFT} and {RIGHT}. when this is done nothing happens during use, i tried mapping other keys to the tilts and they work fine. i also tried mapping the left and right keys to another mouse button, no luck.
Im Running 1.46 on WIN7 64 bit
thanks for any help

That's odd, I just tried it here (also Win7 x64) and it worked first time...

In the simulated keystrokes dialog what radio button was selected? I had "Press on down, Release on up" (see screenshot)

That is possible, it may use different (lowlevel) keyboard access for those keys - I have seen that with other media players. I tried it in the default profile and it quite happily controlled the left/right scrolling in Firefox and explorer (note, I left left tile to {RIGHT} and right tilt to {LEFT} to proove it really was making a difference - quite a confusing effect ).

I haven't got XBMC but I can probably try it tonight to see if it suffers the same problem.

Thanks,
Phil
