logout whenn double-click (mmb) !

Post by Bert75 » Sat Sep 16, 2017 10:36 am

I use XMBC to emulate the double click by the mouse middle button. (something I did in the past inside the logitech driver, not possible any more).
I have nothing else in my profile.
Every now and then (about once to 3 times a week), when I use the mmb, my 2 screens blank and my session is actually closed. If I login again (entering my session password), nothing is wrong.
Happens on two different computers. Both Windows 10 latest version.
Both Logitech mice (different types).
Any idea what is causing this ?
Thx in advance,
Bert

I cant think what could cause a logout to be sent. its a shame it is not more reproduce-able because thats going to make it very tricky to track down. Normally I would suggest turning on debug logging so we can see what XMBC is doing when this happens, but debug logging turns back off automatically when XMBC is restarted and if it is so infrequent, that might make it useless.

All I can say is that there is nothing intentional in XMBC to do this. I think there is a lock/logout option in the button mapping dropdowns, so I will check that that is not getting triggered accidentally (i.e. bug in the code) but I doubt its going to be that simple. Is it actually logging out or just locking your workstation (logout would mean all programs are closed I think - what you describe sounds more like a lock to me).

Thanks
Phil
