{ALT+F4} no longer opens shutdown dialogue

Post by rugburner » Fri Feb 17, 2017 4:34 am

{ALT+F4} no longer opens shutdown dialogue screen. Worked in 2.14. The only reason I use this prog is to close anything with middle mouse button.

Are you referring to a simulated keystroke?
If so, the correct syntax is {ALT}{F4}. {ALT+F4} has never been valid syntax for simulated keystrokes!

If you are referring to the "Close window" action, then that changed several versions ago (2.12 viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2112&p=8621#p8614) to use the internal close API's which wont work to bring up the shutdown box- I'm pretty sure it wasn't changed between 2.14 and 2.15, but you should be able to use the simulated keystrokes to send it.

Thanks,
Phil

Thanks Phil! That was the problem. I must have gotten it right accidentally in the last version!
