Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?

That comes from the setup exe (as the window title says) so no, it cant be translated.
But I do wonder why it was unable to close/kill xmbc during upgrade... :/

Re: X-Mouse Button Control doesn't work after awakening

OK I think I have fixed it - try 2.17 Beta 11 to see if I have (or not) and let me know.
The beta will be available here later today: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2625

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

OK here is 2.17 Beta 11. If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only a fraction of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get t...

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?

The first interest is whether the cause of the first crash is due to tested the " Layer name " field. Has the purpose I sent ZIP been achieved (did XMBC crash when you tested the " Layer name " with my settings?) Even with XP or my environment only matter, I will restore my system and be able to co...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control doesn't work after awakening

Looking at Prec's debug log I think has answered the questions.... 24-10-2017 16:05:09.0906> Power State: System is suspending operation. 24-10-2017 16:05:09.0984> Reinstall mouse hook on resume is enabled. Remove hook before suspending... 24-10-2017 16:05:09.0015> HookThread: Finished the message l...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control doesn't work after awakening

I think, it's not a good idea to do anything after the start of hibernating. If something need to be done, better way to do it exactly in the handler that responds to the OS that XMBC allows the OS to go sleep - in this case the OS is free of hard tasks. I dont know what you mean by "do it exactly ...

Re: Access to buttons 6+

HI, yes I have moved the posts to the correct topic. Unfortunately, XMBC does not use RAWINPUT (RAWMOUSE), it uses mouse hooks. RawInput does not allow the application to block the original message, where as mouse hooks do. But mouse hooks only work with buttons up to 5. In the future it may be poss...

Re: Access to buttons 6+

I don't but there are a few API spy type programs that might work... This one is pretty good: http://www.rohitab.com/apimonitor but I don't know if it will capture messages presented to the mouse hook. Ive never needed that myself because I get that when running under the debugger. Actually, if you ...

Re: Mouse speed bug

Well firstly, what version of XMBC? There was an issue in earlier versions where it wrote the wrong thing. This should be fixed in 2.16.1 Secondly, XMBC should not be doing anything on lock/unlock (unless the lock was actually sleep/hibernate). I will have to investigate further when I get some spar...

Re: Access to buttons 6+

How does it send buttons 1-8 as windows messages? The windows mouse hook API only supports 5 buttons (and tilt and scroll) - and no it has not been upped according to the MSDN documentation. Unless it uses the same message with different flags (I have seen one mouse do this previously but that only ...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control doesn't work after awakening

I didn't say it cant help, I said (to ResidentR6) that it might affect timing and cause the problem to stop occurring. Its still very much worth trying! As to the two you picked out, RemoveMouseHook shouldn't be a real problem if it takes a long time (other than it means probably that there is a lot...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Hi, can you try something other than Office apps (internet explorer/firefox/chrome should do it) - Excel in particular does not behave as you would expect to TILT at all (dont ask me why, ask MS!). You can setup a different profile for Excel and use the scrolling and navigation to convert the tilt w...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control doesn't work after awakening

Hi all, unfortunately, one of the side effects of enabling debug logging (if that';s what you did) is that it slows things in XMBC down (as it takes longer to write more log to disk). So if this "bug" is related to timing (as would be suggested by modifying the process priority) then changing anythi...

Re: Change Movement to Scroll: Block original Input after Xms

In 2.17 Beta, there is a new option "time dependent button actions" that allow you to have different actions depending how long the button is held.
That might be a more appropriate option.

Re: Does this option apply to regular scroll wheel?

Just tilt. The scroll window does not have auto repeat.

What are you actually trying to achieve?
