Re: Site certificate is broken

The main XMBC download page https://highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htm has the right icon. The top level site (highrez.co.uk) has a generic "hrz" icon (simply so it wasnt blank in my bookmarks :)) - didn't want to put the XMBC logon there because I have more than just XMBC on my main we...

Re: Site certificate is broken

Not quite that simple. forums.highrez.co.uk is a subdomain, not a sub folder of www.highrez.co.uk
And to add favicons in phpbb, you have to edit all the styles individually.

However, it is done!

EDIT: PS: You shouldn't have hijacked this thread (and you know it!) :). A PM would have been sufficient!

Re: Site certificate is broken

Thanks for letting me know - I renewed my cert, but I guess I forgot to put the updated on on the download host site (the forums are OK I guess) :)
Will try and do it now!

EDIT: Should all be fixed now... Shame on me for forgetting that server!

Re: x mouse button contro does not open!!! why???

I'm sorry, was it not obvious? You could now tell me the information I request in the forum rules. The version of XMBC you have installed for starters would be good, no,, essential. Then how about all the other informaiton requested in the post templates... XMBC Version : Windows Version : Mouse Inf...

Re: x mouse button contro does not open!!! why???

Why oh why can you not read the rules and give the required information. The post template clearly leads you down this path does it not?! There are a multitude of reasons it may not be opening, but given your inability to read the forum rules, probably the most likely, it is opening but you have not...

Re: What is inpoutx64.sys? (New user)

It is possible, that the MSI in particular software utilities something like InpOut to control the low level registers that enable keyboard lights - but I would have thought that a big global company like MSI wouldn't use a 3rd party open source driver - but you never know. It might be worth checkin...

Re: What is inpoutx64.sys? (New user)

Its an "open source" 64bit driver used to access "old fashioned" ports like the parallel port, serial port and others directly. It is certainly not essential for running your computer and if you don't know how you got it, then its probably installed by some software you have installed, most commonly...

Re: My xmouse does not start

Firex (and any new user), Kukurykus is correct. Please read the forum rules and provide the requested information when posting a problem or bug report, otherwise what can I do other than ask again (which I am tired of doing). I even put it a post template in place to guide you to fill in the require...

Re: Stimulated keys

I'm afraid this is not currently possible. The "sticky" function runs a timer and that only knows about the last pressed button. To change that would be a major redesign so its not something that can happen quickly, but I will add it to the "to consider" list but I cant make any promises that it wil...

Re: MouseHookLLProc: we could have a problem!?

Why two posts in the wrong (inpout32) forum?! This is clearly meant to be an XMBC report.. .I will move one of the posts there and delete the other one - but in the future, please use the correct forum. Now on to the problem... You haven't really told me what the problem is... Is there actually a pr...

Re: XMBC unactivated shift + scroll in Vegas Pro 15.0

XMBC, by default, remaps the scroll to send it to the window under the cursor. This may intefere with the way some programs react to the scroll wheel. Try turning off "Make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor" in general settings and see if that "fixes" the problem. If it does, you can create a ...

Re: Caption matching is not working when switch tab in browser

Yes this is well known and actually intentional. Due to the high resource usage for caption matching, pattern matching only runs when the active application changes. When switching tabs, the active window/exe is the same, so its not run :(. Actually, in 2.18, I have reduced the resource usage somewh...

Re: Thanks to Phil, plus 2 minor questions.

Why can't you just let people set the key right there? Or have a reminder at the top of what the trigger key is. Yes that might be a good option, I will certainly have a think about it, the only confusion is that it applies to all application/window profiles, but I can probably word it such that th...

Re: Thanks to Phil, plus 2 minor questions.

Interesting ideas and by no means not crazy, and if I had all the time in the world I might well consider them but quite frankly, the GUI development is the most difficult bit of XMBC - being C++ it takes ages to get it "right" and the changes you suggest while perhaps sensible, would be a complete ...

Re: Thanks to Phil, plus 2 minor questions.

Hi, Actually your two questions are somewhat related. Layers allow you to assign different functions to buttons for an application profile that you can quickly switch between with the mouse or hotkeys (/modifier keys). So actually, with layers, you can achieve your second question (functionality of ...
