Re: left mouse mapped to down arrow & can't change

Hi and Welcome! The answer will depend how you have set up XMBC (what other options are on/off).... It sounds like either the profile is wrong and getting activated all the time, or you accidentally setup something for the left button on the default profile! To recover, you can try the following... ...

Re: Change cursor when dragging?

I've added this to the todo list, I don't think it will be a problem, but not sure yet when I will find the time to do it.

Regards,
Phil

Re: Performance and multithreading

If you are calling it from user mode (as you will be), then its as accurate as you can be in user mode - but can you be accurate to 1ms? You can only be as accurate as the windows task scheduler will let you be, and you will have to use high precision multimedia timers or the likes as the standard w...

Re: XMBC 2.18 Beta

Oh sorry... There is just one log file - to get the debug log, you have to turn on debug logging in the "Updates & Logging" tab of the settings window in XMBC. Then the debug info get written to the log file (there is a button to open it in the same tab, and you can also open it from the XMBC systra...

Re: XMBC frequently resets to default settings randomly.

OK, let me know how that goes.
If it helps, you can setup a global hotkey to toggle XMBC disable/enable via the keyboard (e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+E) to make things a bit quicker, but I would like to get to the bottom of this - as we are narrowing it down!

Re: XMBC 2.18 Beta

Urm, I don't think there is anywhere... The debug log file is for me really - as it is to help me debug issues. Without a deep knowledge of the code its not going to be all that much use, except for the obvious warnings and errors..

Re: XMBC 2.18 Beta

Here is 2.18 Beta 11. If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only a fraction of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get the ...

Re: XMBC 2.18 Beta

Hi Reg, Firstly, welcome, and thanks for the feedback and the clear description of the problem! Secondly, ironically, that is once of the things I tried to fix in 2.18 Beta 10 (issues #574) but I failed... Its fine with any button EXCEPT 4 and 5!!! I have found and fixed it before I even read your m...

Re: Changing the functionality of MMB in SketchUp

Almost works. If I set Layer 1 to Simulated Keys: (during)[{SHIFT}{MMB}] and Layer 2 to (during)[{SHIFT}] it will activate PAN when MMB is clicked and will change to ORBIT when SHIFT is clicked. However, when SHIFT is clicked again it won't revert back to ORBIT (with MMB still held down). It also w...

Re: Changing the functionality of MMB in SketchUp

Well the shift option is not really an option... as I said before... "but as you will be holding shift, SketchUp will see it and will still activate pan (I think)". If you use shift as a modifier key, sketchup WILL see the shift so you will not be able to do anything but PAN. You may be able to use ...

Re: Changing the functionality of MMB in SketchUp

Just a thought, is sketchup free - if it is I could grab it and try out these options before suggesting them - and create a profile for you to import
(when I get home form work of course!)

Re: Changing the functionality of MMB in SketchUp

Which method do you want to try.... Option one... Choose another button to use... Re: XMBC 2.18 Beta

Here is 2.18 Beta 10. Ive been rather busy recently and haven't had much time to spend on XMBC. I'm afraid that's going to continue for some weeks yet but today I got some time to get a few little fixes in! If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and pro...
