Re: scroll wheel copy then paste

Is it possible to set the scroll wheel to copy highlighted test on the first press and then paste the copied text on the second press? Why don't you try the new "Button Held" feature in XMBC v2.17 beta. You can set a single click to "Copy" and a "click&hold" for a second or so would "Paste" the cop...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

I think it should be something like "Default action" or maybe simply "Default" would be best. It can't be, cuz the like Phil said it has set an action, but there's no description. It might be just simple 'No description' or something. :P Yea, I meant when you leave it to the default action for the ...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

For the held actions, I don't want to say undefined, because it is defined, just with no description. Undefined suggests that you have not yet set it up. I could put in a different word - suggestions welcome! Having said that, the sim keys should not be empty, it should be as it was if there is no ...

Re: Reducing Mouse Wheel Sensitivity

Well that's an interesting one :) I wonder if it could be something like 'executing a different action on each notch' instead of ignoring notches. That way the user can set a cycle of X "disabled" notches after the first one or set a different command for every next notch thus creating a cycle of di...

Re: Strange issue...

Hi Phil, I don't change the DPI, it seemed to me like the clicks has been sent to a different process and not the one under the cursor. I don't know what's the possibility of this happening but if you say that the clicks are there (in the log) so most probably it's that or as you suspected the hook ...

Strange issue...

It happened twice but I don't know how I triggered it (v2.17 Beta 5). The first time it happened I had explorer window focused and when I left-clicked in it the window got unfocused (?). I realized that both LMB and RMB are not working and used hotkey to open XMBC but when I left-clicked in the Sett...

Re: How Do I Enable Horizontal Scrolling in MS Paint?

Aren't tilt wheel left and right inactive on your XP?

I tried Ctrl+Scroll Up/Down in mspaint on my win8.1 but it zooms in and out.
It seems like Shift+Scroll Up/Down is intended to scroll horizontally in some apps but it does nothing in mspaint on my win8.1

Re: How Do I Enable Horizontal Scrolling in MS Paint?

I've noticed that if the picture is larger than the screen, using the scroll wheel scrolls vertically, but if you pull up the handle at the bottom and make it smaller than the screen (only vertically), then using the scroll wheel makes the picture move horizontally (scroll down moves the picture to ...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

2. It actually already does this; in-fact it will do this not just for the 4th, but for any "last" action (is, if 4th is disabled, it will use the 3rd and so on). What it does, is send the button down as soon as the last enabled time is valid. The button up is not sent until the button is released....

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

By the way you should remove the held option from chording window also, while it doesn't do anything there too. Just out of curiosity, is there any chance to combine those two features or it's not a good idea? For example, adding 'Button Held' for the second chord button, even if there would be onl...

Re: Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

Thanks Phil, that's all I needed to know! In fact, one of my mice is also Logitech. The other one is a very old mouse at work that has some kind of a software problem I think. Sometimes it works flawlessly but very often it's wheel goes mad - sending 2-3 MMB clicks at a time and when I scroll in one...

Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

Hi Phil, Two of my mice have hardware problem and often send several clicks (2-3) on a single button press. I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow block the unneeded clicks in a very short interval after the first one but still be able to double-click. Or maybe block all the clicks inclu...

Re: {ALT}{F4} Closes All Windows!!

Probably the problem is in the "tilt" action (it sends the command repeatedly). Try it with different button combination (e.g. RMB+LMB or RMB+MMB) to see what happens, if it works like it should (closes only one window) then most certainly the problem is in the "tilt" behaviour and you need to lower...

Re: How Do I Disable Middle Click in Opening Links in Google Images?

Try assigning "Change movement to scroll" to the middle button and tick the "Block\delay original ........" option. I hope that works for you :)

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Yes, I havnt put any checking in for he multiple profiles... It will find them in the order that they exist in the list (top to bottom). I could "fix" this but actually it may be better this way, because if it does not find the first one, the second one may be more appropriate. You mean that if the...
