Re: Weird {Home} button behaviour when bound to Tilt Wheel Right

Tilt is a pain in the rear. It is not like a button with discrete down and up, it is a messages that repeats on a timer (hardware dependent) and this makes remapping it awkward. Did you try enabling the option "Ignore repeated horizontal scroll when remapped" on the options tab. This in effect attem...

Re: Switching tabs in Chrome requires mouse to slightly move for scroll to work

I'm not sure this is related because this problem effect primarily the operation of the scroll wheel and "scroll window under cursor" option. In this case, the window under the cursor changes, causing the scroll wheel to send scroll messages to the wrong (old) window. You seem to be talking about so...

Re: Volume control with RDP

How have you set the buttons up? Using the Media: Volume Up/Down or using simulated keys? I think XMBC just sends the virtual key codes for the media keys (not present on many keyboard but on multimedia keyboards). that would probably explain why they pass through to the RDP session as they are just...

Re: Switching tabs in Chrome requires mouse to slightly move for scroll to work

OK makes sense I guess.. The fix was to initiate a profile check when releating CTRL - it always did do a check when releasing ALT... So Alt+Left/Right always did a check. It does not initiate a check when pressing mouse buttons until the mouse moves. This one will probably have to wait until 2.19 b...

Re: "Active window on hover" issue

Sorry but can you translate that for me? Is that the windows option to activate windows by hover (ie. use that instead of XMBC's option)? That makes much more sense if it works than to use XMBC to do this - which for some reason, I cant figure out this particular issue (although this one was just wi...

Re: XMBC 2.18 Released

I have just published 2.18.3, a maintenance release to fix two more bugs related to Chrome, where there was a problem with profile detection when switching tabs and scrolling the bookmarks menu.

For a complete list of changes, check out the version history.

Re: First i send you a Big thank's ! (But i have a question)

It may still be a permissions issue. Is it random (the windows that wont close) or does it always fail to close a particular window? Perhaps next time the problem occurs, you could turn on debug logging - you can setup a global hotkey to do this on the fly or you can go into settings and turn it on ...

Re: First i send you a Big thank's ! (But i have a question)

The installed version of XMBC should automatically start with windows - the installation process adds an entry in the "startup" registry (for the all users). So it should start automatically. On widnows 8+ you can enable/disable this in the startup tab of task manager if need be. If for some reason,...

Re: First i send you a Big thank's ! (But i have a question)

How and where did you install XMBC - or are you using the portable version? I ask because to send keys to elevated windows, you need XMBC to be running as an accessibility tool and for that it needs to be installed under the c:\program files\ folder. If its not installed there, then it wont work as ...
