Re: Feature request: filter out mouse events generated from touches

OK that looks promising... So if that flag is set then basically just return from the hook without doing anything that XMBC currently does. That shouldn't be a problem! I'll have to have a play around (I have a surface pro 2 which should generate the required events to test with!). Consider it added...

Re: change keystroke as I press the mouse button?

You may be able to do this with XMBC (although Autohotkey will be more powerful and probably reliable). But i XMBC use simulated keystrokes, for the button on layer 1, use simulated keystrokes and type A{layer2} For the same button on layer 2, use simulated keys and type B On layer 2, set the option...

Re: Feature request: filter out mouse events generated from touches

Unfortunately the mouse hook that XMBC uses only sees mouse messages, not all windows messages. Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect that the WM_TOUCH messages would only be sent to the focus application (not XMBC/global) so unless XMBC injects into every process to monitor their message queues, I don't t...

Re: Problem with slow click with left mouse button

So I'm trying to reproduce this here (Windows 10 1903)... The only way I can get to the rename using the mouse button is to click on an item that is already selected (highlight3ed in blue). It does not matter how long or quickly I click (hold) the mouse button. If it is NOT selected then it simply s...

Re: How to hold down the left control and then release?

Yes this should be possible...
Choose "Simulated keystrokes"
In there, type {CTRL} in the key sequence input box
In the "How to send" dropdown, select method 8 (sticky until the button is pressed again)

Let me know if you need more assistance!

Regards,
Phil

{PRESS}S{WAITMS:1100}{PRESS}{LMB}{WAITMS:6100}{RELEASE}{LMB}S this seems to be fine. not testet enought yet You may find that last S needs a {RELEASE} before it too. {PRESS}S{WAITMS:1100}{PRESS}{LMB}{WAITMS:6100}{RELEASE}{LMB}{RELEASE}S You may also find that if you use a newer version of XMBC (2.1...

Re: extending XMBC to other input codes/types...

I'm sorry but as far as I am concerned, changing XMBC to do this is out of my discussion - deal with it - or perhaps do what I did when MS stopped doing what I wanted to do - and make your own tool that does what you want! At the end of the day, XMBC exists because MS didn't update their old intelli...

Re: Porting a simple c program from linux to windows

Urm, what is this post doing here/ What has it got to do with network throughput monitoring? Maybe you meant to post to the InpOut32 forum - that would make MUCH more sense. Please post to the correct forum - and read the rules (it really does get annoying having to keep repeating this so excuse the...

Re: extending XMBC to other input codes/types...

Have you looked at Auto Hotkey - that's already a very powerful keyboard programming tool - probably more so than XMBC but it isn't record and playback! I really want to keep XMBC mouse focused (esp. as I have enough building up on the ToDo list without extending to a new input device :P) XMBC is wr...

Re: X-mouse stops mouse wheel scrolling in Xara Designer Premium

Hi, by default XMBC remaps the scroll to the wheel under the cursor - and I guess in this case, thats not the right thing to do. You can turn this off globally (in general settings, Make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor) or per application if you create an application profile for the app that...

Re: Simulated Keys pgup?

OK thanks for the info - I will have another play here - first impressions where that I could not reproduce but when I get a spare moment I will have another go!

Just one more thing - is it any Windows program or specific apps/browsers that the trouble with {pgup} occurs in?

Re: X-Mouse Button Control is not working with visual studio

Hi, sorry, not idea why its not working with visual studio 2010 for you. It has always worked in visual studio for me since way back when I started it in VS 2002/3. However, I don't currently have VS2010 installed here but its working for me in VS2008, VS2103, 2015 and 2019. Its also working in Sql ...
