Re: Button mapping to window/screen parts?

I see that you haven't used Switcher2.0.0  , I intended monitor|screen edges aka hotspots (ie. left edge, bottom edge, top-right corner, etc.). I wouldn't dream of suggesting anything as complicated as window edges! I'm not trying to turn XMBC into a window manager :haha: . Yeah, I know I'm co...

Re: Button mapping to window/screen parts?

Updated this topic to include screen part recognition. Adding the ability to have the mouse buttons/scroll wheel change to more specific functions at the screen's edges/corners would be incredible. I think it's somewhat related to my original request; don't know how much easier/harder it wou...

Re: Window Scrolling OK Button

I'd love to give the latest beta a test drive :D . Didn't know XMBC automatically switched to method 4, Wheel Message ; in that case manually choosing WhlMsg setting would only be necessary if methods 1 or 2 work but not to the users satisfaction. :?: Is Scroll Info another name for the Wheel Key me...

Re: XMBC Icon

My Win7 Edition icons are all 16px and made from scratch, so feel free to include them in the next distribution/icon package/site icon page/whatever. If their not 'too spidey' :| :P as m2200 thinks.

Window Scrolling OK Button

In the window scrolling section under advanced settings the OK button should not close the dialog. It should apply the settings, then transform into a close button. This way several options can be tested without constantly re-opening the advanced settings window. Also, I'm wondering how concrete thi...

Re: Update for Iconoid x64

I tried their updated version a while back. I had been using your x64 ever since I upgraded to Win7, and from what I remember there were issues with the official sites Beta that were not present in your port. So you may still be a step ahead of the author. The same version I tested is what's current...

Possible conglomeration?!

Another idea for wwaaaaaayyy down the line. This Autohotkey script works in a similar vein to XMBC but has functions not available in your program. In short it allows for a mouse button to simulate the scroll wheel in a grab & drag style a la Adobe Acrobat Reader. DtS also has the ability to specify...

Re: Button mapping to window parts?

Thanks for the quick reply phil. :( I was really hoping to be able to do things such as: change system volume by using the scroll wheel over the notification area launch task manager by button press over systray forcefully terminate most foreground app at push of button (show desktop strip?) cycle t...

Re: XMBC Icon

I voted for #2, but would like it better without the digits for layer #. In other words keep the grey X, for X-Mouse :D , on the base of the mouse and add another green dot for each layer greater than the first.

Button mapping to window/screen parts?

XMBC currently has the ability to adjust scroll method dependent upon which window or window parts are under the cursor. Do you have any plans to expand that sort of specificity to button remapping as well? I would like to use XMBC to change mouse button/scroll wheel commands over different sections...
