Re: Way to disable button globally except for one program?

On the Default profile choose 'Disable' from the drop-down menu under Mouse Button 4. Add/create profile(s) for the Mumble/Teamspeak programs, I assume you'd just leave Button 4 set to 'No Change' for these. If you have profiles for any other programs, with which you do not wish to use mouse button ...

Re: Little problem with Firefox 3.6

Hi Teddy, your English looks fine :) " Little problem with firefox: " - I don't experience this using FFox3.6 + XMBC2.0 on Win7. When the mouse cursor is over a flash control, the scroll wheel will not respond; this could be what you're experiencing. " Mouse speed: " - You could try adjusting the mo...

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

Hi Luke,

It looks like you've changed the XMBC's Icon to the G500, even on the task button. How did you achieve this?
Try restoring the default icon and see if Beta16 continues to crash.

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

Most of the changes between Beta15 and Beta16 had to do with the way the service launches the program at startup. The more information you provide the better, preferably step-by-step. Please give as much details as possible. Does XMBC load OK at startup? Do you have UAC enabled? Can the program func...

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

There weren't any major changes between those two betas, just cleaning up of the apply button logic and fixing an issue when running at startup. See the changelog in the program files directory. #ID38: Updated user documentation #ID37: Fixed some issues introduced with #34 in previous build. Also fi...

More information please :) Be sure to read the following threads before posting: Before you ask for help.... , New Users & Posting Rules , FAQs Most importantly post your XMBC log, found in %APPDATA% directory. It doesn't sound like you'll be able to enter debug mode unless you have already assigned...

Re: Problem with Kensington Expert Mouse

If XMBC saw the messages with IntelliPoint driving the device before, then that should still be the case. Unless something else has changed on your system. I really don't know what else could have changed. Make certain the device has the same mappings in IntelliPoint as it did before your SP1 upgrad...

Re: Problem with Kensington Expert Mouse

Here's a link to a page that contains older versions of the IntelliPoint software  FileHippo *IntelliPoint* After you've uninstalled the one on your computer try installing v7.1 or earlier. MS being MS likely decided to remove any non-MS devices from being compatible with their software in th...

Re: Problem with Kensington Expert Mouse

OK, I wouldn't expect uninstalling IntelliPoint to make a difference - I was just saying that it's not needed if you don't have any pointer devices that it will recognize (read MS pointer devices). I didn't know that you were able to control it through Microsoft's IntelliPoint software in the past :...

Re: Problem with Kensington Expert Mouse

Intellipoint software only works with MS devices, seeing as your trackball is from Kensington it's not compatible. If you don't have any MS input devices then you don't need to have their IntelliPoint software installed. When using the scroll ring do you see any orange highlights on the button assig...

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

As stated in an earlier post, I also use AWM. I can't even get that setting to interfere with XMBC's scrolling in any way. It's odd because I would fully expect it to cause some kind of trouble. As a matter of fact I remember it doing so when AWM first implemented the feature, but that only resulted...

Re: Question toggle "shift/alt/ctrl"

I'm assuming it's the same setup for all apps he wants to use this new modifier sticky feature with. So, no, it does not mean that he might as well map it to the default profile, if he's using it how I think he is. If it's all the same setup for those buttons (e.g. MButton=Alt, Button4=Ctrl, Button5...

Re: Question toggle "shift/alt/ctrl"

@ phil I think you're going to have to make it only deactivate when mouse buttons besides those mapped to modifiers are pressed (i.e. only when LButton or RButton is pressed, but not Button4/5 - assuminig they are mapped to Ctrl/Shift). This way khold could still do multi-modifier commands. @khold I...

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

Re: Beta Testers Wanted

The developer of XMBC is Phil, I'm just a dedicated user and beta tester. It is a free tool made by one individual and distributed to assist others. I've used programs such as KatMouse and WizMouse in the past and have decided to stick with XMBC. The 2 mentioned are very simple programs, focusing on...
