Just tilt. The scroll window does not have auto repeat.

What are you actually trying to achieve?
My scroll wheel is broken so I was hoping this would be one way to tide it over until I get a new mouse.

Does this option apply to regular scroll wheel?

I just want to ask if this option under Advanced apply to the regular scroll wheel (up and down) on the mouse or just the tilt wheel that goes left and right?

Re: X-Mouse Button Control just started simulating Ctrl + Alt + Delete?

Hi, I'm afraid I just (on Tuesday) had a HDD fail on my main dev PC. I have lost a load of things, nothing important like XMBC but it will be out of action for a while as I rebuild it. I will try and have a look at this at the weekend if its stable by then (but Ive got a few things on too like our ...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control just started simulating Ctrl + Alt + Delete?

To start XMBC with debug logging you need to add /Debug to the command line. XMBC is started (normally) with an entry in the run section of the registry - so you can edit that IF your comfortable with that or you could create a shortcut with that extra argument and just re-start XMBC using that sho...

Re: X-Mouse Button Control just started simulating Ctrl + Alt + Delete?

Very odd, I dont believe there is anything in XMBC o do this - although I seem to recll someone else having this problem, and we never got to the bottom of it because it does not happen for most people. Can you turn on debug logging and see if you can recreate it? Its a bit tricky if it is happenin...

X-Mouse Button Control just started simulating Ctrl + Alt + Delete?

So I noticed that whenever I log in recently, the Ctrl Alt Delete window pops up automatically. After some testing with my startup entries, I identified the culprit to be X-Mouse Button Control. However, checking all my recently added profiles, none resemble sending of Ctrl + Alt + Delete keystroke....

Off-Topic: Software used to package XMBC

Continued from HERE . XMBC uses the <old> NSIS installer for both the installation and the updates, using the highest compression available. The updates are packaged with only the main EXE and DLL files (and language packs but they are tiny). There are separate update packs for x86 and x64 - as it k...

Re: XMBC 2.13 Beta

Hi Phil, This is a little off topic but, what do you use for packaging updates as well as the installer? I'm interested in the one for updates because it seems seamless and I think it only contains the changed files or the binary/diff of the changes. Sorry for going off topic, you can delete this if...

Re: XMBC 2.13 Beta

Whoops, I just tested out the aero peek, and it seems to still be non-working at beta 8.

Re: XMBC 2.13 Beta

Another thing, how are you activating Edge when this problem appears? Do you have "Profile detection on mouse move" enabled? Are you switching to Edge with ALT+TAB - I have noticed that when doing this, it does not detect the profile properly - so I will at least fix that one! 1. Yup I have Profile...

Re: XMBC 2.13 Beta

OK I found what I had done wrong and have re-fixed that for the next beta. I'm waiting on another issue that I appear to have made worse in B7 before I make it available! Thanks! That's good news! By the way, I dunno if this was prevalent on previous betas too but I have reported before adding supp...

Re: XMBC 2.13 Beta

Interesting. I re-worked the threading model, especially when dealing with the scroll lines thing (that was the cause of the original problem) Its quite possible that in the small hours I managed to break the last fix. oh well - I will have a look at that and re-fix in in the next beta. Thanks, Phi...

Please try 2.13 beta 4 here and let me know if it works as desired.

Thanks,

Sorry, for the late feedback, I wasn't checking my mail yesterday and the days prior. So far it seems to have worked! Good job! :D
