I just install the version 1.48.1 and now it is possible to determinate where to store the file "XMBCSettings.xml"

Dont count on it being in 1.47. Maybe... but how best to do it... The point of the XML file is to avoid registry settings.... but I guess one couldnt hurt too much :? Thanks a lot... I will be waiting for the 1.47... 8) 8) You are right, it is really a god idea to avoid many registry setting, but this one really means an improvem...

May be this idea, of redefine the location of "XMBCSettings.xml", could be implemented in a new version of this amazing application.

It is possible to redefine the location of this "XMBCSettings.xml"??, for example, on another folder different that the "Documents and Settigns" default folder (and prevent possible loses of this data on an OS reinstalation). May be modifying some value with regedit this wil...

A few days ago i format my PC and start with the work of reinstall all my favorite apps. Looking on the changelog of XMBC, i found this: Version 1.41: * Added XML configuration files to hold settings instead of the registry Excellent news..... I think too that bloatware sucks (nero, acdsee, windows, etc.), but I still believe that and little .INI (1kb or less) maybe not turn the excellent XMouse into a heavy monster.

I hope that you can have some time for this \"top\" software....
