Re: left and right scrolling not working

You seem to have deleted the posing template rather than provide the requested information. I can shake the magic 8 ball in your profile picture and guess a few things given what you said but nothing beats providing the information requested. Then maybe it makes it easier for me to look and see if I...

Re: Per axis scrolling sensitivity in move to scroll

I guess in theory it will be possible. In practice, it may take me a while. I have a whole list of things to consider for the next version 2.19 but I havnt yet made a start on it. I will add this to the list and see how it goes, but I can make no promises on timescales (I've been concentrating on tr...

Re: Anyone else have success using X Mouse Button Control for mouse bindings?

Unfortunately that's quite common with many games. Games tend to use Raw/DirectInput which operates at a lower level than XMBC and therefore XMBC can't block the messages. The only way around that would be a proper mouse driver - which is not something that is available to me, not least because you ...

Re: Automatic activation of Remote Desktop windows

The only solution is to install XMBC on the remote computer I'm afraid.
XMBC cant activate windows remotely - remote desktop does not expose any way to do that!

Re: Drag navigation map in firefox

I know its not obvious, but just to explain my reasoning... If you have XMBC set to "No change (don't intercept)" then basically XMBC has to do nothing, it simple lets the message pass through. Where as, if you set it to anything else, it has to do <something>. In this case, it has to throw away the...

Re: Feature request

Not easy. To so that I woul dhave to intercept and re-inject EVERY single movement message... Thats going to be one hell of an overhead and laggy, not all applications work with injected messages (more often than not games) and some applications that use direct/raw input (again mainly games) will se...

Re: Drag navigation map in firefox

Hi, well you completely failed to mention that you had swapped left and right buttons (using the button mappings) so thats quite different from my setup. However I don't yet know if that is relevant as it still works here with your profile (haven't tried on firefox yet - I'll do that at home as I sa...

Re: Drag navigation map in firefox

Hi, How have you got your buttons configured in XMBC? I just tried fr.mappy.com and it drags just fine (I'm using Waterfox here that's based on firefox (but an older version).... I'll try it at home too later with actual firefox - but I need to know your button mappings to be sure I'm doing the same...

Re: Disabling scroll wheel does not work in Rage2

Yes some ideas. Many games use Direct Input to capture the mouse. If this is the case, then XMBC can not block it because direct input operates at a lower level than Windows Mouse Hooks (that XMBC uses). So basically, in those cases, there is nothing that XMBC can do. The only answer would be to hav...

Re: Invert scrolling not working in Citrix RDC

I'm not sure the immediate answer to this - I will have to play around and see what I can find here - I presume it will be the same problem in MSTSC (Windows RDP) - I will see if I can replicate in that and if its possible to find a solution/workaround when I next get time to look into XMBC in detai...

Re: can i activate monitor power saving clicking on the left or right corner?

You don't need to be an administrator to run XMBC (portable or not) but that wont stop you being able to change the system mouse settings (actually they are not system setting but user settings). However, XMBC should *not* change those settings unless you tell it to do so (and you can change them on...

Re: [HowTo] - How do you prio one button/ignore if pressed.

Ah, I see! Yes, from what you have said you recon you have understood it correctly. Im gonna try the layer-trick and bind layer 2 to the RMB. Its a bit more complicated than that... You will need to use simulated keystrokes, and send {RMB} followed by {LAYER2} with "during" selected. That might wor...
