Re: Windows 10 Scroll Lock Activated on Wake from Sleep

I dont know why scroll lock would be turned on on wake from sleep - thats nothing to do with XMBC. All I can suggest is that you disable the option to "Disable XMBC when scroll lock is activated" and instead setup a global hotkey if you want to enable.disable XMBC manually via the keyboard. Thanks, ...

Re: Swiching layers via hotkeys isnt working...

Please can you have a look in the log file and see if there are any error messages regarding the hotkeys (send me a snippet and I will check for you)? If not, can you turn on debug logging and then try your hotkeys again and then send me the long? Also, please be aware that the hotkeys only function...

Re: Access to buttons 6+

The FAQ gives an explanation as to why XMBC can not see any more than 5 buttons. I'm afraid that hasn't changed. I have investigated other ways but not had any success so far. So as of right now, there is not much chance, but I wont say no chance.

Re: logout whenn double-click (mmb) !

I cant think what could cause a logout to be sent. its a shame it is not more reproduce-able because thats going to make it very tricky to track down. Normally I would suggest turning on debug logging so we can see what XMBC is doing when this happens, but debug logging turns back off automatically ...

Re: Reducing Mouse Wheel Sensitivity

Hummmm this one is a tricky one. Normally you can configure how the wheel scrolls, but if you are remapping the scroll wheel to keys, then it will always send the key each time it recieves one "notch" on the wheel... I don't believe there is currently a way to change that (in XMBC or Windows). More ...

Re: Does X-Mouse completely take over mouse button?

OK, I'm not sure what you are doing with chrome, but if I set the mouse wheel to "Disable" it blocks it on chrome, and if I set it to something else (simulated keys) it also blocks it. There should be nothing in Chrome that makes if "unsupported" although there are some extra rules built in to XMBC ...

Re: Does X-Mouse completely take over mouse button?

Normally yes, although you can, if you wanted to, use something like simulated keystrokes where you can choose if you want to allow the original message through too, or you can for example, include a {MWUP}/{MWDN} tag in your simulated keys.

Re: X mouse issue with the keyboard input

Firstly, thanks for checking around other things and well done for figuring that out (I don't think I would have got as far as a BIOS setting in my diagnosis before I tore all my hair out!!! - so thats a relief). Secondly, thanks for posting the problem and the solution - as it might in the future h...

Re: Input format for <ADDRESS> and <DATA>

Firstly, many PCI cards do not work with InpOut32 - some people have had success but I don't have a definitive list of cards that work vs cards that don't (its not a very big community!). I need to remind you that I only ported InpOut32 to x64, I didn't write it and I don't pretend to know very much...

Re: OpenBroadcastSoftware bind problem.

I don't know OBS so I'm not sure what to suggest... You could map to a key that does not impact typing - like F12 or even F13-15 which aren't there on most keyboards. Maybe you could have a different app specific profile for the games/apps where you want to use PTT which does not disable the buttons...

Re: X mouse issue with the keyboard input

Sorry to hear that, but I can't think (off the top of my head) what could be causing this in XMBC - no one else has reported such problems and I've never seen it with the keyboard. I wonder if there is some other software you have that might be conflicting? In my experience, the system beep indicate...

Re: Strange issue...

Hi Iliya, This does indeed sound odd - but the log you pasted does not appear to show any problem, that is, there are two left clicks, (a left down followed by up) which appear to be passing the message through (as you would expect with no change) and a right down (cording) followed by an up (cancel...

Re: Some inputs being sent twice when certain applications are focused

Hi, thanks for the detailed report. Unfortunately, I cant see anything obviously wrong in the log you have attached, every time XMBC it is sending only one key down/up sequence. I cant see any clicks for browser forward/back - but it looks like your using layers on the 4th and 6th buttons - were the...

Re: How Do I Enable Horizontal Scrolling in MS Paint?

Sorry, change movement to scroll works by sending tilt messages - which is what does not work with paint. And the scroll messages may be jumpy, but the only adjustment is the little horizontal scroll characters, and if thats still jumpy, then there isn't much anyone, except Microsoft can do (i.e. cha...
