Re: loosing clickability Foobar2000+FFportable

Firstly, I presume you meant to post this in the XMBC forum rather than the InpOut32 forum??! I'll try and remember to move it when I get home! Now, there are specific workarounds for Foobar in XMBC because back in the day (over 10 years ago now probably) there were compatibility issues that I worke...

Re: Simulated Mouse Clicks Cause Screen to Turn Off

Thanks for the info, but it has caused me some more confusion... the double click action should be doing exactly the same thing as sim keys {LMB}{LMB} under the hood - so I don't understand why one option would differ from the other. The only slight difference I can see is that there may be some add...

Re: How to set up Xmouse to switch Layers when holding down a key?

Hi, I'm glad you figured it out. unfortunately, that is a downside of the modifier keys, I cant block them because it would block any use of that key. There are alternatives, like global hotkeys and timers (or simulated keys {layer:x}) to switch layers back but its all a bit fiddly I'm afraid. Thank...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

Typical, on a day I had some free time to investigate - it worked... And now that time is over, it doesn't work... And either way, I cant reproduce it (I will have to dig out my track ball and try with that next - but Im not holding up much hope :(). XMBC sends scroll messages when the cursor moves ...

Re: Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency

A little more progress on Killy's thread - the high CPU usage was not being caused by XMBC, but was causing problems in XMBC. Can you see if your Internet Connection Service is stalling? Maybe use process monitor/explorer to see if any other process/service is taking a significant amount of CPU (lik...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

OK, sorry I didn't realize that the ICS fix also fixed the default action triggering... Its great if that fixes it - I will have to see if BoseRoHS is having similar issues with high CPU usage from ICS! But it makes some sense, esp, seeing those log entries. I think you are correct in that the ICS s...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

Well that's a good start re the CPU load, I wonder if the same is causing all the beeps that were reported elsewhere.... Regarding the default action.. You say it made no difference what default action was mapped - does that mean it always sent the right click, or it always sent the mapped default a...

Re: Comandos marcos/macro commands

Ahh sorry, I didn't understand... So you want to hold LEFT down while you send Q and E each with 250ms? Or you want to press the left and while holding left, you want to send Q and E with 250ms delay each? Do you want the 250ms between Q and E or do you want to hold Q for 250ms then E for 250ms. Act...

Re: Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency

I created a random test profile and the issue still occurs quite aggressively in 2.17. The issue with 2.17 is that Windows will set off the system beep while just moving from application to application or clicking on the desktop... when XMBC is only setup to function within specific applications, a...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

Well, try as I might, I cant reproduce this... Not only does the default action not trigger, but the CPU usage remains "normal" too... NOTE: When "default action" is set to "nothing", it should *NEVER* trigger any action. If you set the default action to something other than RMB, does that trigger a...

Re: Comandos marcos/macro commands

Do you want the left button to be released after 1 MS? and then press Q and E? If so then I'm surprised that {LMB}QE does not work using send method 1 (pressed) or 2 (released). Bear in mind that a 1ms delay is difficult to achieve to any accuracy in user mode in Windows. The chances are your going ...

Re: Curious if this would work for +5, the holy grail

Unfortunate, as described in the FAQ, XMBC is unable to pickup anything on buttons 5+ because XMBC uses Windows mouse hooks and quite simply, buttons 5+ don't send any Windows mouse messages so XMBC does not see them.

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Yes I have reproduced the problem here.
And just a minor not, but 2.17 Beta 16 is an earlier version (thus a downgrade) from 2.17!

I will look into this and fix it in the next (2.18) beta.

Thanks,
Phil.

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

2.17 was released last year - this beta period is over.
Does the problem occur in the release version? I suspect it does... :(
