Re: How do I toggle between two layers (with 3+ layers)?

You can not add a LAYER X modifier to this layer because another layer already has a layer modifier setup to this layer. Doing so would cause undetermined behavior and is therefore not supported. I don't really understand the error. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the 'layer x' command. Is it not a ch...

Re: 'Activate window when scrolling' not always working.

I'm not sure but i think that rings a bell (as in if the process is already active, its not sent again.
I'll try and take a look when I get a moment (not likely to be in the next 2 weeks as I'm insanely busy at work!

Re: "Movement to scroll" improvements

Well all settings are in the XML file (which is text) so so long as its configurable then thats how that will work (eventually).

Re: SimKeys: "{SHIFT}{ALT}" works but "{ALT}{SHIFT}" does not

RE the PS... The problem with a scan code is that it still language dependant (isnt it) because its tied to the keyboard language... You can already send a virtual key code (but the same may apply) with {VKC:<code>} and you will have to work out the virtual key code for the particular character (not...

Re: "Movement to scroll" improvements

Yes that may be the simplest solution... I'm a little wary of making too many changes because I want to release 2.17 but that is a really simple one that cant go too wrong :)... Will see. I was going to look at all of this on Saturday but was ill and didn't manage much at all this weekend :(.

Re: ctrl+left key and right continuous help

To be honest, I'm not sure what a space will do, maybe it was sending the same as {space}/{space} hence appearing slower (there is also a small delay between every keystroke configurable in the general/advanced settings which may make it slightly slower stil, but thats useful because otherwise keys ...

Re: ctrl+left key and right continuous help

With the keyboard, do you hold the keys, or repeatedly tap them? Because with method 6, you are repeatedly tapping them which seems a little counter intuitive to me.

Have you tried {CTRL}{LEFT} / {CTRL}{RIGHT} with method 3?

Thanks,

Re: Can xmbc run how service ?

If you mean you want to make a mouse button simulate the enter key then do this: For the mouse button you want to use, select "Simulated keystrokes" In the main input field, type {enter} or {return} (I think both should work) Choose method 1 (or 3 depending how you want to simulate the key press) Hi...

Re: What mice work with XMBC?

XMBC works fine with only 3 button mice, you just dont get so many buttons to configure :). I guess I could make that clearer in the FAQ, it was more to say that more than 5 buttons will be a problem... I guess it should say up to 5 :).

Wow that is pretty in depth - I will take a look in detail when I get a moment (probably at the weekend) and let you know how I get on.

Re: [BUG] {PRESS} and {HOLDMS} don't release key sometimes

There is already an option to send when the button is released... that's method 2... But that's not what you mean is it... Do you mean have an extra field for things to do when released... then really you might want 3 fields, press, hold and release.. Quite frankly thats just too much work (complete...

Re: [BUG] {PRESS} and {HOLDMS} don't release key sometimes

Probably an XMBC bug. The code to break halfway through a loop is fairly new and its a tricky bit of logic (what have we pressed, what do we need to release etc). I guess the problem is, if you break the loop after a press and before the release, the release wont be executing... But I suspect the so...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

It should only apply once the axis is locked, and if you move the mouse left or right (when scrolling vertically) the horizontal will be added to the vertical movement - which means if you move only horizontally, its not going to have much impact but diagonally should improve scrolling and will add ...
