Re: Red Dragon Gaming Mouse and X Mouse

First thing to try, remove the driver and use the default windows HID device driver. Does the mouse also have software? you may try disabling/removing that too? You need to figure out how to get the mouse back to being a default mouse device that sends default mouse messages, then XMBC should work! ...

Re: How to find cursor positions that saved from {MSAVE:n} like {MADD:x,y} ?

The cursor position is already displayed in the sim-key window, at the bottom.
There is eve a little drag tool to drag to the location to pickup the position.

It is displayed both relative to the whole screen and the window under the cursor.

Re: How to find cursor positions that saved from {MSAVE:n} like {MADD:x,y} ?

Hi, Whats with the ___underscores? I think you have miss-understood MSAVE and MREST. They do not store the cursor position, they are temporary memory storage so you can save the position, set it to something you want, do something and then restore the cursor position (put the cursor back where it wa...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff

I dont know if you can us chrome instead of IE, but I guess so - chrome uses the windows cert store, just like IE. You can download it with firefox too I guess but you wont be able to install it from Firefox as it will go into firefox's own certificate store!

Hi, how have you setup your buttons? Running X-Mouse should not have any impact on the standard windows double click!

Looking here: https://www.repairwin.com/fix-a-referra ... ver-error/
the suggest step for solution 2 seems to match what you have tried from your screenshot above - so if your still getting this error, its a little concerning - that is, I'm not sure what else to suggest :(

Re: 2.12.1 / "invert mouse wheel scrolling" bug

To add to my previous post, here, with 2.16 portable, the invert scroll seems to work when using the mouse wheel to scroll, that is, scrolling the wheel down, scrolls the window up. However, invert scroll has no impact on the change movement to scroll - is that what you are looking for (the change m...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff

I'm afraid that I dont know which policy to look at off the top of my head. I'm pretty sure it wont be in the group you listed, there is likely to be something to manipulate the certificates on the machine. I will have to play around with group policy on by test machines, but it means setting up a d...

Re: 2.12.1 / "invert mouse wheel scrolling" bug

Hi Luke, sorry but this thread has completely passed me by since last time you posted. I will have a look right now - I tries your XMBCSettings and its working fine here (the inverted scroll) with my installed version of XMBC. I will check it with the portable version and see what happens. Thanks, P...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff

It could well be related to the first problem, so lets start there.... Urm, I'm not 100% sure how to handle this - I guess you need to (re)install the certum root certificates. Normally windows update installs the root certs, so you could check to see if there is a recent root certificate update tha...

Re: Error: "A referal was returned from the server" when launching XMouse + other stuff

Hi, XMouse should not need administrative access to run. However, it does run as a UI accessibility tool, and for this it has to be digitally signed. It is possible that your company have put (group) policies in place to block these types of applications, or have removed root certificates from Windo...
