Re: Is the Logitech M585 Compatible w/ Xmouse??

Good luck and let me know how you get on, not least so we can add the mouse to the comparability list one way or another!

Re: Is the Logitech M585 Compatible w/ Xmouse??

Personally, I've not come across a Logitech mouse that is not compatible with XMBC. Sometimes the Logitech software (setpoint) can cause issues, or can configure the mouse buttons to behave differently so that XMBC does not see them) but generally this can be fixed by changing the configuration in t...

Re: 5 buttons and 4 directions roll mouses

Hi Texta, you really should have created a new thread for your issue, but never mind :) I suspect you either have razor software installed which is remapping the tilt to scroll, or the razor driver does this. Try unloading any razor software (I'm not familiar with Razor devices so I dont know if the...

Re: XMBC disabled on Windows boot but tray status shows enabled.

Sounds like the mouse hook is either not being set, or being timed out (i.e. removed by Windows). What is your hook timeout set to? You can find this on the Advanced settings tab "Windows low level hook timeout" setting. You could try increasing the value and see if it makes any difference next time...

Re: Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

Its very unlikely to be a software problem with that mouse wheel/button - much more likely to be caused by hardware issues (like dirty/worn contacts). There isn't a lot of "software" on a normal mouse! Its quite common - back in the early 90s I remember (frequently) disassembling C64/Amiga joysticks...

Re: Blocking several clicks instead of only one?

My Logitech mouse is suffering a similar problem (so much so I have ordered some new microswitch and I'm going to fix it myself). I tried the debounce but its really not very useful, mainly because sometimes the button releases mid-drag. I cam to the conclusion yesterday that its not possible to pro...

Re: Long press of the middle mouse button, is there such a function?

No there is no distinction between different length presses in XMBC yet.
It is something on the todo list but I dont know when it will get added.

Re: Trackpads?

Yes it should do, trackpads send the same messages that mice do for scrolling as far as I am aware.

Re: {ALT}{F4} Closes All Windows!!

Hi XLook, What version of windows are you using? I just tried to mimic your configuration (right button chord with tilt right set to sim keys {ALT}{F4}) on my Windows 10 desktop and it seems to be closing the windows explorer windows just find with that. If you are on a different version of Windows,...

Re: Help with Scroll for VB6 app in Azure VM

Oh sorry, I mistook "VB6 application" for "VB6" (i.e. the actual development environment). My profiles may work for the vb6 application but you will have to change the name of the application form "vb6.exe" to the executable name of your application as you suggested to the name of your application. ...

Re: Help with Scroll for VB6 app in Azure VM

Here are my VB6 profiles - you can import and try them by double clicking them (open them in XMBC). The use a different scroll method (on the scrolling tab). I haven't used them for a while so I dont know if they still work in VB6 on Windows 10, but they should be OK. Scrolling VB6.EXE (1).xmbcs Scr...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Beta

Save/restore is a temporary storage - for remembering the cursor position while you move it, using the various mset/pset/aset commands so you can effectively put it back where it was when you are done. The save is not persisted (and was never meant to be persisted), so I'm not quite sure what you ar...

Re: 'Override mouse speed' setting ignored often. Always after reboot.

I don't think I need the log file now seeing as I think we understand what was happening. In 2.17 beta 4 it should be OK doing it either way, it will use the default profile if that has override set, rather than the general setting, which will only be used if the default profile is not set to overri...

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?

Hi Phil, please, can you explain me this... Activate the top level (root) owner of the window under the cursor. What is a "top level owner"? Thank you Andy The same as it was last time you asked and Maxoku replied, 3 or 4 comments above this one?! The top level parent, keep going up the parents unt...
