Re: Driver signing status?

The driver is signed but the signing cert was the old standard and does not meet the latest MS requirement. I don't know if it works or not - try it and find out. I'm not sure if the new requirements are enforced in 2016 (I think they are in 2019). I don't have the facility to sign/resign the driver...

Re: Scroll Window Under Cursor - problem with Explorer

Interestingly, Im on Windows 10 which has its own "scroll inactive windows" and the same problem exists with Explorer with that (with XMBC or without XMBC)... So Im almost certain that the elan touchpad driver or windows explorer itself is doing something special - and thats bad news. As XMBC does n...

Re: Scroll Window Under Cursor - problem with Explorer

I can confirm that the same behavior happens here on my laptop with my touch-pad and two finger scrolling... The same does not happen with the mouse wheel on the same computer - so definitely something to do with the touch-pad scrolling - the question is what and why! Unfortunately, as soon as explo...

Re: can i activate monitor power saving after x seconds?

I don't think this will work, because simulated keys, while the are sent from another thread, are sent in series, so it would block out any other simulated keystrokes while it waits for 30 minutes! To be honest, XMBC is not the tool to do this. Maybe you can use XMBC (run application or simulated ke...

Re: xmouse not working in chrome and word

Forgive me if I am wrong but it looks to me like the minor adjustment was:
I just had check the "Ignore repeated remapped horizontal scroll so I could get the horizontal scroll to run the "Simulated Keys" I wanted just one time.

Re: Program Button Commands for Autodesk Revit

Hi, I cant help out specifically with this particular software, but in general in XMBC you can use simulated keystrokes to send the keys sequences that you want. There are other users of Autodesk type software here and they may be better placed to help you out specifically.

Re: Quick Launch bar erratically unresponsive

OK yes it sounds like the taskbar... The confusion is that in earlier versions of windows, you could add a quick launch bar to the taskbar (but that was changed in Windows 8 to hide it and removed completely from in Windows 10) Let me know if you figure out if you can make it go wrong again, I don't...

Re: Quick Launch bar erratically unresponsive

Sorry, what is this "quick launch bar" you refer to? Is it some other 3rd party software or part of Windows? The only quick launch I know of the the bar you can add to the taskbar in windows 8 and earlier (its gone from 10). But that functionality does not match with other things you describe like t...

Re: Access inpout32.dll in assembly code

Sorry, no idea.. but as its a windows driver, I wouldn't have thought you could access it from a legacy dos app as that wont have access to windows drivers!?!

Re: 2 rules of different timing

Sorry, its not possible to do this with XMBC. Repeat options work while the button is held down or until the button is next pressed. To do wat you are trying, I would suggest perhaps some different automation software, like AutoHotkey or EventGhost as its really not in scope for mouse button configu...

Re: Initial Problems

You can upload the image file as an attachment and place it inline or you can use the IMG option to link to an image off site.
But I think you need to have made 4 posts before this is allowed... Your on 3. I'll manually move you out of the new user group and it should work then.

Re: Initial Problems

Hi, On most mice, the wheel is between the left and right buttons, hence it is in the middle and referred to generally as the middle button (when pressed) and scroll wheel when scrolled up and down. Windows internally refers to it as the middle button and/or button 3 (where button 1 is left and butt...

Re: Initial Problems

HI, When you press the wheel button, does the middle button dropdown in XMBC highlight in orange? If it does, then XMBC should be able to remap it (and without XMBC running it should trigger autoscroll in applications that support it, like the browser0. If not then XMBC is simply not seeing the butt...

Re: Reversed buttons 4 and 5 not working as they should.

I don't know discord but maybe you can disable the trigger on mouse buttons and instead, use a global key hotkey sequence or something that you can send from XMBC on the 4th and 5th buttons using simulated keystrokes? I'll see if I can reproduce this later (I don't have discord at the moment but wil...
