Re: Invert scrolling not working in Citrix RDC

I'm not sure the immediate answer to this - I will have to play around and see what I can find here - I presume it will be the same problem in MSTSC (Windows RDP) - I will see if I can replicate in that and if its possible to find a solution/workaround when I next get time to look into XMBC in detai...

Re: can i activate monitor power saving clicking on the left or right corner?

You don't need to be an administrator to run XMBC (portable or not) but that wont stop you being able to change the system mouse settings (actually they are not system setting but user settings). However, XMBC should *not* change those settings unless you tell it to do so (and you can change them on...

Re: [HowTo] - How do you prio one button/ignore if pressed.

Ah, I see! Yes, from what you have said you recon you have understood it correctly. Im gonna try the layer-trick and bind layer 2 to the RMB. Its a bit more complicated than that... You will need to use simulated keystrokes, and send {RMB} followed by {LAYER2} with "during" selected. That might wor...

Re: [HowTo] - How do you prio one button/ignore if pressed.

I don't think this is currently possible, but can I clarify.... While you are pressing (holding) the RIGHT button, if you press the LEFT button you want it to ignore the setting and send a normal left click? Actually this may be possible with layers and simkeys but it might get tricky/unreliable... ...

Re: can i activate monitor power saving clicking on the left or right corner?

Hi, it is currently not possible to perform clicks related to monitor position only - but your idea to setup for the desktop window should work, so long as the desktop is visible (the "window" under the mouse cursor and/or the active window) and not obscured by any other window. I just checked here ...

Re: XMBC doesnt work after restart

1.49 was released 21st December 2009 !!!
Then there was a gap in my source control labeling of over a year to version v1.53 and v2.0 :)

I'm kind of impressed that v1.49 even works with Windows 10, since it was not even a concept back then!

Re: XMBC doesnt work after restart

Are you really using XMBC version 1.49? That is ANCIENT!
Try 2.18 and then we will worry if it does not always start!

Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?

It sure is - and whilst its really nice of Dolmatov to do it, it is not something I am gong to ask others to do. If they/you really want to then that is great but I'm loathed to ask anyone to spend any more time on XMBC than they currently do (as I now it can zap away the hours!).

Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?

Thanks Dolmatov, I think I will add a link to the Russian user guide to the website (rather than include it in the main download as that will make the main download bigger). If anyone else want to translate the user guide to their own language feel free - and I can provide a word document if you wan...

Re: Faltering, it stucks

Your last statement throws me a bit. XMBC is not device aware and applies to all devices at the same time. If you connect another mouse, XMBC will (should) remap that device too as it cant tell where the messages come from.

If you exit XMBC all together, does the first mouse behave normally?

Re: X-Mouse Button Control & WinPE

Hi,

Nothing specific comes to mind - I would have to try setting up a PE build here... You could use Depends http://www.dependencywalker.com/ to look see what is missing maybe and copy the files from a full windows install and see if that works..... I don't think its going to be that simple though!

Re: X-Mouse Button Control & WinPE

Ive never tried it under WinPE but I suspect you are missing some of the C++ runtime and/or MFC runtime required by the GUI in a WinPE environment (The hook DLL is very light using pure Win32 (C++ runtime) but the GUI (EXE) uses additional MFC runtime. You can try installing them: vc_redist.x64.exe ...
