questions on scrolling controls

2.19.2 : 7sp1x64 : kennsington expert mouse : 1st prob -- using kennsington driver resulted in insane mouse speed that was difficult to control (I rolled back to MS driver, more predictable). 2nd) I tried to compensate for craziness in XBMC, but no luck...so wondering how mouse acceleration control...

Re: trying to add chording, but not getting expected result

Well, along the lines of your last paragraph....if you opened up the source, you *could* cherry-pick back in changes you wanted. I mean you wouldn't have to pull in everything, but only those you felt didn't (or tested to not) cause problems. I.e. I understand the limited time thing -- and I have SW...

Re: trying to add chording, but not getting expected result

Ahhh I think the last paragraph of your first answer could be the key here.. I guess I was hoping the program would do the non-chording mouse translations until I pressed the other mouse, then do the chorded translation then either stop, or go back to the unchorded keys if it was still pressed.... ...

Re: trying to add chording, but not getting expected result

ok, my original macro works in notepad, but the one with the chording does not even work when I press the 1st key (rt or lft mouse) which should be the same keys as in my first macro. I.e. not sure why it isn't the same. :-( Though looking at the notepad window, I see some of my keys on the right si...

Re: trying to add chording, but not getting expected result

Is this in a game? Many games don't work with simulated input... Does it work in notepad? Yes, it is in a game, "bladeandsoul.com". It was working up until I tried adding chording. Your text is very difficult to follow... Perhaps because of all the shortened text - this is not an SMS message - try ...

case is ignored, right?

This isn't a problem, and it seems obvious, but wanted to ask in case my obvious wasn't the same as someone else's... I can write {ctrl} {CTRL} and {CtRl} all interchangably, right? and for normal keys, upper or lower case also makes no difference, so I can't type a capital X to get a raised X press...

extending XMBC to other input codes/types...

Clear description of the problem : Well, if it was a problem, that would help, I guess the absence of a feature might be considered a problem. But I was looking for a good keyboard macro prog, but was only able to find ones that basically let you record a macro that was played back later. I thought...

XMB keeps being set to low CPU prio...not good

I don't know what is doing this, but maybe you can add some code to check if the cpu prio gets lowered below 'above normal' (or whatever the user sets it to) and set it back --- The Svs gets set to below normal and the control gets set to idle -- needless to say, this results in very poor mouse perf...

Suggestion for enhancement...Chording.

I don't know if this is even possible in the interface, but this is like hold 'work-around' for having only a 2 button mouse on an X system when you needed 3. Pressing 1 buttons at the same time -- gave you a 3rd button. It wasn't a time-delayed thing (or if it was, maybe a millisecond. But Having s...

Re: X-Mouse control often loses "it"...Win7-64

Hi Astara, It seems that the free edition does not have any "screen capture" in it - ie the bit that causes the problem. Thats a shame because it stops me from trying it here. I not have to wait for some debug log, or an alternate debugging solution. Thanks, Phil ---- uploading a copy of a version ...

Re: X-Mouse control often loses "it"...Win7-64

I did a google search and found a free edition -- but don't know if it has the screen snapshot ability
or not:

RFE: allow 'layer' (profile?) selection based on input dev

I have more than one input device -- I minimize my use of input devices to a mouse (trackball, actually ) and a pen-tablet. Problem is that the settings I need for the trackball are the ones where I need to use XBMC, whereas the other device (the Wacom tablet) doesn't need button remapping and is un...
