Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

Hmm... Bad news. It was all god for a whole day, and then default action started to trigger again and high CPU load on scroll emulation is reproducing too (in version 2.17, modifier keys disabled). No stalled processes this time. But I still can run into the situation when XMBC start to misbehave. S...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

does that mean it always sent the right click, or it always sent the mapped default action (sorry but I need to be really clear on this as its critical). It was always sending the mapped action. I tried to set {capslock} as the default action and it was doing capslock then. Now it will be harder fo...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

It had no difference whatever windows I was trying to scroll or what exact action was mapped. Sometimes it was like it was processing some events multiple times. So it was like there was another RMB click after release (no bouncing - I replaced the switch under RMB just recently). I'm starting to wo...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

Beta 6 and up - has all the symptoms - excessive CPU usage and default action triggered. Beta 1 to 5 - no excessive load. Default action not fired every time, but more like third of the times. Example of a CPU load on a continuous scroll (might not be easy to reproduce without trackball): scroll_cpu...

Re: "Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

I only know how to get v2.17 beta 16, and it has the same issue now.

While checking this, I also noticed ~15% CPU load rise when scroll emulation is used (release and last beta the same).
This might relate it to another issue Windows System Beep (audio) / IO latency

"Change Movement to Scroll" - default action triggered after movement

I have "Change Movement to Scroll" on RMB, and default action is "No Change" (exact value is irrelevant though - the issue remains). Expected behaviour: Default action (RMB) is triggered on button release only if there were no movement(scroll). Actual behaviour: Every time I scroll, default action i...

Re: Any way to temporary override mouse speed?

Ah. I missed this modifier key initially.

It has a disadvantage of being global and can't be set only for particular application via profile. And slowdown is not adjustable. But nonetheless, I can try it now and see if I will be using it regularly.

Re: Scroll emulation not working in Windows 10 "Open with" dialog

Tried it again and it works now, for me too.
I guess it was fixed with Windows update (updated Windows 10 to version 1709 just recently).
So it looks like it was version 1703 issue, now fixed.

Put "on" and "off" commands into single sequence. (If they are the same, there will be even number of commands in the line.)

Any way to temporary override mouse speed?

Something similar to precision toggle on gaming mouses would be nice to have.
Might be command or layer option or hotkey/modifier key.

Re: Combine "Change movement to scroll" with layers

Desired state : https://i.imgur.com/exQIKlz.png This means, default action will also be needed with combined layer/scroll switching. The only uncovered use-case is when you have to drag something with the RMB. But it is so rare I can map one of "unusable" buttons to RMB too for that. (They are unus...

Scroll emulation not working in Windows 10 "Open with" dialog

https://i.imgur.com/bhNVzrg.png In this dialog, regular scroll does work, but scroll emulation doesn't. While I understand why games and some system windows may not support scroll emulation, this one seems strange. I wonder if this was intentional or not from Windows developers. Regular UWP apps su...

Re: XMBC 2.17 Release

Thanks. I even went as far as checking pdf manual. But corresponding section wasn't updated there. Didn't notice instructions in Find Window dialog. And usually I don't have to open it anyway. Being able to select multiple apps in Choose Application dialog with Ctrl key would be nice, although still...
